It's a pitty we run with the IFMAR rules for sanctioned races here in Australia. 7mm crank hole and turbo cut can not meet with the hole. I can see the advantage of being able to use bigger crank port diameter for more power.

Zoom, m-speed does produce ifmar approved crankshafts for the TZ 3 port as well. But the picture is not available on their site, I wondered how it looks like

Hi

I tried the engine on Sunday and it flies. I had more power than the mega, pity my driving wasnt the best!

I havent reduce the head clearance yet but will try once its fully run in. Another couple of tanks should do it

Cheers

Hey, I think i contributed a bit when this thread first started so now i need some info. Is this the best engine for around 16,000yen. Im getting it from japan and i used to live there so you'll have to bear with me. I want to do some racing nothing too serious. And is there much performance wise difference between the 3 and 5 port. I would expect the 5 port to be faster so is that all. I want to get into onroad since there is a track near me opening soon.
Thanks.

You mean EFRA rules. Those limit the crank as you say. IFMAR rules allow any mods to crank.
