NOVAROSSI Engine thread....
Never had issues switching brand plugs on an engine. Only Novarossi plugs will not be totally tightened in other brand engines but even then it is easy to make them fit (I recently did once on a Picco).
Somewhere in an old topic on this forum a guy could measure the taper angle on several plugs using an electronic magnifier and the tapers were just a few degrees different.

What about protek t5 medium?
I won't go with p3 cause it's ultra hot plug. Probably not gonna work for me.

Tnx, and what about this hot/cold plug thing, am I right with going medium/cold for 80+ degrees weather?
My guess is that plug heat ranges are like lipo c ratings, there's no standard. If a p3 and a ct06 are the standard plugs for their respective engines then my guess would be they are probably the same heat range. Only way to know is check your burn pattern.

What purpose is served by the little holes below the exhaust port in this sleeve? They don't line-up with any cutouts in the crankcase; they're just little holes that lead nowhere. What are they for?
They help with sealing, cooling and lubrication on the piston. The piston face on the exhaust side gets hot, more so than the intake side.
Yes, it is a Picco sleeve. I posted it here because Picco and Novarossi share a lot of design features, and this seemed like the fastest way to get an answer. Whatever the answer is, it should be applicable to any brand of engine, including Novarossi. I'm not sure why you say Picco doesn't use these holes when this the sleeve came from a brand-new Picco engine and it clearly has the holes.

Me again needing help🥲
finally started putting this thing together and I encountered a problem. When I tighten cluch bell it gets stuck, doesnt spin freely. Reason behind it is position of my flywhell. I will post coulpe of pics, basically my crankshaft is too short using this combination of motor, collet, flywheel and cluch bell

I have 2 collets actually but they position flywhell at the same place, and you can see it's not in the center.
Help me out good people.
