Thanks for the quick response big jay. Hopefully there'll be another serpent on the racetrack in the not too distant future!!

I know 30 k seems real thick for the center diff, but it seemed to unload to much with up to 10 k in the diff. I was watching a team drivers car at one of the state races and noticed his front tires did not balloon anymore than the rear did. After asking him about his set up he was running 50 k in the center diff. That is where I got the idea from. Just about every track in Florida is high bite so I think the center fluid may be an advantage.

I probably have a spare center diff, and it would be interesting to try. It's probably a 3 minute swap as the center diff is really easy to get to. I might try it next time out. I am not sure we have as high of traction at our outdoor tracks here in GA as you do in FL.

I use a 1.5 mm hex driver for the receiver box and the set screws on the sway bar, so I would suggest picking one up. I think it would definitely be worth a shot to try the thicker center oil! I figure I can always go lighter if I come across a track this is slicker or I feel it would be beneficial.

Man, 30k seems waaay out there. This is why I love the old diffs.. the new diffs just seems to have such a wide variety of opinions.

The 811 is quite possibly the best looking 1/8 buggy there is, IMO.

tkge, are you using the Kyosho Light Blues on your buggy?
masher81, I know it seems way out there but it has been working for me. Maybe I will try going lighter if I have time to mess with it.

Does anyone else have have a good indoor diff set up for the 2.0 diffs? Not down talking your 30k IOP. Im going to be running on the stickier side of medium bite. The guys in Florida forgot to ship my buggy so i have some more time to plan.

Also any idea on when the Serpent wheeler is going to be released?

Yes they are the Kyosho light blue springs. I like them a little better than the stock springs. I did however order several sets of Serpent v2 springs to try out this weekend. I also use the CSI Black pistons and 50f/40r oil and webbed bladders. For my diffs, I have settled on running 10/12/5 and it handles really well with that for me.
