My new VF8 2100 was shipped Friday...ought to be here Wednesday of this week and ready to drop into the Losi 8ight 3.0.
We've spent the the last couple of weeks working on the Smart Brake settings of the VTX8 speed control in anticipation of the new 2100. The 2100 should be faster and quicker, so we're trying newer, more aggressive, brake settings as well. Using the Smart Brake settings in combination with the traditional drag brake for a smooth and predictable two-stage braking package suits my driving style very well.
We're also considering adding the Losi SmartDiff to the 8ight-E 3.0 package with the higher power of the 2100. Our local track is VERY high bite, VERY tacky.

Cool. Looking forward to hearing first hand reports.
For the new VF8 motors, if you were going to run one in a light truggy setup (say 4S 5000mah packs), which of these would you recommend?

Ran the Fall Brawl this weekend. The track started great then mother nature turned it to slop. Was cold and wet but the new Viper VTX8 and VF 2100 worked great. I qualified 7 in B main for Open e buggy. Won and bumped up to A. The whole Viper system worked great I didnt have to worry about the water and mud as the car ran great and had no real issues .
Thank for great product.
