finally ordering some shorty packs this week to try them out. What's the recommended foam blocks to run in SC10 4x4 FT saddle pack? Want to make sure I order them when I purchase the battery so item # or amain link would be amazing. Notice AVID makes a battery foam set for shorty packs now to but $6 kinda rape http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ttery-Foam-Set

Its used on the XX and XXT
That foam is thicker & fills the side of the tray just right for shorty packs..

Whats the name of the track ?
I can look it up to get a better idea what your track conditions are like .
or ?
Post us some images ...
Also include your present set-up & tires you are using please ...
sgtlt
believe it or not have raced on seal coated concrete before ...
But with a 1/10th sedan ..
Never with 1/10 off road or Sc truck ..
You should be able to teach me a few things about hopefully ..
Post your set-up , it reads like book in
revealing how your track conditions are .
Is it the set-up listed in the instructions ?

I went the opposite direction, instead of going ultra light I went to the heavy side. I put the Exotek LCG chassis on my truck and it made a huge difference, my truck is like it's glued to the track.
