Cain
From what I have seen when they first put something on the website it is put on there at the full retail price.
Where have the Speed Passion employees gone? One of my reasons for running SP was the fact that employees came on here to help resolve issues and to answer questions.

that was something I enjoyed about SP too. I am hopeful that we will see that turn around as its a big reason I have been sticking with my SP stuff outside of the performance I have been getting.

I would really like to hear if they are working on a product to compete with the Tekin RX8 in the SCT 4x4 market as well as 1/8 scale. Something that has as much Amp handling ability to take advantage of the 550 4 pole motors and similar. The SP GT2.0 Pro is a work horse for sure, but with the way things are getting pushed in that area, would like to see SP get something out there on that front, maybe the SAV3 could do it or something similar.

Anyway, has anyone heard of anything new on the 1/10 motor front?

Why? I have had no issues with my fan and the ESC stays so cool with the design. Aesthetically it might not be the best, but I want an SA3.0 for the 6s capabilities and if it can have an output equal to what it says in the 2.0 manual, not to look pretty.

I'm excited for the new 1.1, just not the price tag!

If I could ever gt some $$ together, i'd be updating to the new Rev pro stuff. Found a few combo deals online for less w/ the motor. def. tempting. I'm guessing that the MOSFET update is more likely to help the onroad guys. I find I barely use any brake, and just coast more unless its a tight corner.

My GT 2 is in the 44.1 and my LPF, working hard in my 4.2. Eventually I want to swap to all SP in all my race stuff.

Yea, I'm guessing Howard and the others have been busy.

Off road. I have had 3 fans lose blades. And I would like to see them make it with a plug. This hard wire fan sux when you need to replace it.

The fan is really the only thing I have had issues with. The Tekin fan fits right on there BTW...

Anyone modify the SAV2 case to move the switch wires to the side of the ESC? saw a mod of this done to a HW ESC for fitting in an EB48, was curious if that could be done on the SAV2?

Would be cool if they had top down plug in wires to limit the real footprint of the ESC.

I mean I guess it's hit or miss, but I haven't lost any blades. For a temporary solution you could just put a servo connector on the end of the wires and one on the fan, that way if it goes wrong just pop it out.

On another note, they need to make some higher quality decals. My Tekin logos are thick and hold on well, SP's kinda feel like paper almost.

That's not a bad Idea... I would like to see the new one be built like the Reventon Pro. Built in switch plug in fan same cooling case and fan set up. That would be dialed.

I race Dirt Oval. I just bought a Reventon Pro to race with my 17.5 "Outlaw Stock" class. Rules are ROAR legal blinky ESC and ROAR legal 17.5 motor... Then Trinity D3.5 happened and that was followed by the Novak ULR and the Murfdogg outlaw motors. Currently those are also legal hence the "outlaw".

My setup is Stock0 for the blinky and a Novak ULR ballistic with a 12.5 rotor. We race 4 minutes.

At the end of 4 minutes, as I am pulling the car into the pit lane under slow power, the ESC will automatically shut off. This seems to happen every time. I have a motor sponsor so I have been running my motors a bit harder and they get hotter than I would normally like, Ive been around the 170* mark as a high point, 150* as a low. I thought the ESC might be cutting off due to motor temp safety, I disabled it in the ESC program. It still happens.

I want to buy another Reventon Pro for a Mod Sprint class, but before I do, I want to understand this problem and make sure everything is ok. Anyone help me out?
