The plug included is fine for break- in (6) and idle gap you'll have to play by ear and as far as carb size for break in, I don't think it really matters, I used the 7mm insert, think its orange (could be wrong). Preheat it first and follow the break in steps via the break in bible (Houston)

I am running the engine for my Team C T8 buggy.I have run 10 tank of 5% fuel to break in the engine. When I was running the engine ,when it was at full throttle for running a long straight road. The temperature of the engine kept rising from say , 260F >>> even 300F .I have checked there is no leaking ,the spongy filter is clean , the glow plug is the original one.Could you guy tell me what's wrong with my engine?

Hi Guy, I am running a new keep off .21 with proper break in for 10 tanks of 5% beak in fuel.I use the C6T glow plug and the white carb. Restrictor, the HSN and LSN kept factory default, air filter is clean ,no leakage of fuel tubes. When I turn the full throttle and keep running at the highest speed , it's temperature kept rising and even over 300F. I have tried to rich the engine but it seemed nothing help.So any ideas for the reason why the engine kept rising on temperature?
Happy to see the solution cause I cannot enjoy with continuous running of my Team C t8 buggy!

Too much power for my tires!!!!
My previous nitro engine experience was with a 20 year old small red head picco. I think 3 ports
Now with the P5xlt I was running too rich on the lsn. Since I started leaning it....holly molly. This thing ripps. I can't imagine peoples who need more power and get modified engines. I did slight port work before breaking so I can't compare the stock engine though. My tires won't last long!!!####!!!!
Very happy

So i ran my P5xlt and swopped the 9901 pipe for the 9886 and although i did not notice much top end performance, the run time was good at 11:30 with a bit to spare in the tank. Air temps are 8 degs cooler then our summers so will be intresting to see what happens later in the year. Running the stock venturi on the motor (6.5). Will post how my first race goes with this pipe.
