I run the JC ballcups and they are just OK.

They pop off in a bad crash but seem to bend easy.

If it is that bad...it is most definitely your tires. No questions asked.

Never understood why someone would actually measure the turnbuckles when assembling before putting them on the car. Personally, I put a little bit of Chapstick on the threads and thread the ball cup on and off a couple times then put it on the car. Adjust the toe/camber settings from there.

I personally like the RPM ballcups being that they are longer than the stock AE ones. Were I race (outdoor 1/8 scale dirt track thats rough and bumpy), I've never had a ballcup come off. I do have the TiNi ballstuds and I always put just a little bit of black grease inside the ballcups to help prevent binding. When I say a little, I mean like less that a drop.

I have only broken one stock ballcup so far. Made an unlucky crash..
Yesterday I replaced my ballcups to the old AE ballcups.
The older ones seems to be stronger

I'd have to agree with BA Racer on the pushing. You can hide a lot of other issues with the right tires. Or you can make a car with the perfect chassis tuning handle like a 2000 Chevy Astro van (I own one...not pretty). If you have decent tires in the back and a crappy diff it will push like a barge and there won't be anything you can do about it.

I have used RPM cups for the last year or more on my SC10's and I have never had a problem with them. I am 100% confident they will work just as well on my buggies.

Measuring is the easy way to keep both sides (left & right) equal .

This way your ride turns the same either direction.

Meh, I disagree. Zero out your servo on the radio, square up the steering rack as close as possible and install the horn on the servo, use the sub trim to center it up perfectly. Then, adjust your links for toe and camber. I check and recheck my toe and camber on a constant basis. If you only do it the one time when you build your car, I guarantee you it's off.

I used Holeshot fronts there.

Thank you, some other tires! I asked Mike and he said ya I don't have traction either but these are the right tires. Ordering some right now.
