Team Associated B4.2 Thread

Ok, so quick question. On my buggy it is pushing wayyy to much in certain sections of our track barley clipping the pipe to get by, so my question is what can be done? I took the washers out from under the ball studs up front, but still pushing. Anything else I can try?

Never understood why someone would actually measure the turnbuckles when assembling before putting them on the car. Personally, I put a little bit of Chapstick on the threads and thread the ball cup on and off a couple times then put it on the car. Adjust the toe/camber settings from there.

I hope RPM ballcups are not garbage. I've read dozens of posts that they are THE ballcup to use. I've got 4 sets of them ready to install on various cars/trucks and would hate to be disappointed in them.
Now I don't know whether to sell them, junk them or use them....... *sigh*

I'd have to agree with BA Racer on the pushing. You can hide a lot of other issues with the right tires. Or you can make a car with the perfect chassis tuning handle like a 2000 Chevy Astro van (I own one...not pretty). If you have decent tires in the back and a crappy diff it will push like a barge and there won't be anything you can do about it.

Chizzle
Measuring is the easy way to keep both sides (left & right) equal .
This way your ride turns the same either direction.
Also drives straight with no pull

Meh, I disagree. Zero out your servo on the radio, square up the steering rack as close as possible and install the horn on the servo, use the sub trim to center it up perfectly. Then, adjust your links for toe and camber. I check and recheck my toe and camber on a constant basis. If you only do it the one time when you build your car, I guarantee you it's off.
