Not even close. Heavier shock oil was nec for me. I run on higher grip bumpy indoor clay with large jumps. Talk about setups being difficult to find. Lol. 4x1.3 s are what I currently use with good handling everywhere except I still slap real good off the larger jumps, so hard I get a hop every now and then. With a tapered piston the fluid flow goes through a shallower port which affects feel. From what I have tested, I need to run 42.5 up front and 37.5 in the rear. This seems heavy but works good. Losi 55's required 32.5 up front and 30 out back on the same track layout. I just got some 3x1.4's tapered to test with next. Then I am gonna try some tricks with bladders on the 4x1.3's to control bottoming

So I am doing a order to get a few parts I need and I need to spend like a extra $10 or so dollars to get free shipping. I was kinda looking at the MIP topshaft, is that any good?
I know a lot of people use it because it reduces weight, but is there any other perks to it?

A Main Hobbies, just kinda got a few things to tune up the car a little more, then just realized it was only like $13 for the stuff I actually needed. Would've bought from my local hobby shop but they didn't have the stuff I needed.

hi there
now i am back to associated. i switched from durango , no more slipping ball diff :-), haha
awesome, how free the drivetrain on the b4.2 runs. i never had this on the dex210.
make it sense to run a low profile servo on the b4.2 or do i need the extra weight of a normal servo like a thunder tiger 1015?
i only have shprt lipo packs and would drun on a med-low grip dirt track.
i would go with my lrp x11 7.5t motor with a smaller rotor or with my speed passion 8.5t engine.
i have two orion r10 pro esc here, but i am thinking about to get the new lrp flow esc.
lrp esc is more linear and the break has always a better feel.

Mike,
I like my Orion better than my LRP for mod class. I have found the Orion to be smoother and have better brakes than my LRP. That being said, try your fresh B4.2 with your current setup first, then change it to an LRP if you dont like the feel of the Orion. I think you will be more than happy with the performance .
