that was 80% max brake on the esc (viper) 100% epa on the radio. when yiou saw me spinning out, I was barely taping the brake. Last weekend I dropped it to 65% on the esc. someone here suggested setting so the tires dont lock up. That was better, but still having other issues. I had drag at 20% on the viper, but have since removed it all together. Buggy rolls forever now, lol.

+1 Fix drag brake and epa, 1/16th on the diff, /pray slipper stops acting stupid, tires. maybe I need some of that sticky kicks to make these boys bite
As for the impacts. One of the local AKA sponsored guys told me that they are very temperature effected. By the main, the temps dropped and he said the Soft he has on were not right. He should have gone with super softs. The proline guys say the m3 are less sensitive. And the JC guys always use green all year long.

AKA CC fronts? Reds? I plan to pickup some AKA red rears. I talked to Richard Lake about my shock package before the machined pistons came out and he pretty much used Raz's 1.6 package with lighter springs. he told me he uses it indoor or outdoors and only changes tires and washers for different tracks.

I thought he had too much brakes as well but it's hard to say when your not driving or there in person.
Wild, I'll be running on an untreated track all summer too that is mostly 8th scale. Here's some videos from it. You can see how drastically different the surface gets LOL

Im sorry, but running AKA foams outdoors will NOT solve the problem. The AKA inserts are super hard, and when your looking for traction, that is not the way you want to go. Outside, i always run open cell all the way around. As do most everyone else. In that video for wildcat, it either looks like you have too much drag brake or something is bound up...check your bearings possibly? Im not going to tell you what setup you need because even by videos, you cant tell 100% how the track actually is. Ask one of the faster guys there what they are using.

BA, I have tried the open cells and the go flat before the tires get close to bad. a lot of the locals use Red in the rear, and say they get much better once massaged a little. And they can get 4-5 sets of tires out of them easy.
And I will be cutting back on drag brake.

I watched that whole video wildcat, it looks like you have a few potential issues. Id start with completely taking your car apart and check for anything binding and or bent. New arms wouldn't hurt.
Also maybe its just me, but it kinda seems your car is too soft and its unloading in a lot of those corners that the suspension is being tested plus it looks like it bottoms out very hard. Maybe just your shocks are low on oil???
Also like the above posters mentioned, possibly way too much brake.
Could also be a tire choice causing it to be harder then normal to drive, maybe you can lower your steering dual rate some to help take some of that edge off since it looks like you have too much steering for how that car is handling.
Definitely need to talk to that guy that lapped you, maybe he can drive your car and make some recommendations.
as far as diff goes, check your outdrives and driveshafts for wear, that will cause a ill handling car even if everything else is in prefect working order.
And as far as setting, i would just set it to 1/8th out and leave it.
good luck

looks like a nice layout with well groomed jumps. I honestly wish they would put some more challenging jumps on that layout, the 8th scale guys must be bored on it , lol. If a 17.5 can clear every jump, the 8th scales must hate it. I liked the double double at cactus. That looked very nice. Plus that triple had some nice air.
