well, I was not going to show this video. but I posted the link to the one from november, so I though it might be nice to see some of the issues, lol. The layout is the same, but they moved a couple pipes to change the flow. Last fall I also ran v2's. But I really think i was carrying more corner speed last fall. Also, my slipper was acting up, that it why I was casing jumps. Then I got frustrated, the only lap I did well on was the last one, lol. Anyway feel free to watch me race like crap. It might be good for a laugh.

the diff is really loose. I am trying to figure out the tires. you can see on the infield when I tried to apply power the rear end kept dancing around a little. And i wanna dynamite that right hand corner table top. I was wondering if the ribs are to "grabby" and when I land on that corner tabletop if it is whipping me around. I have heard that the suburbs have solid steering, but feel smoother and more consistent in the corners. You could hear my slipper making all kinds of noise, lol. I am about ready to toss the avid slipper in the trash. I replaced the pads and the nut. If it does that crap again, I am gonna sh%$ can it. It is fading worse than my stock slipper ever did. I am hoping the new pads and slipper nut fix the issue. I worked great for about 2-3 months, then went down hill fast.

I have seen 1-2 guys try them. Most peopel use impacts, DD's or Holeshot 2.0's. I was running pretty new holeshots in the latest video and DD's last November. Sometimes I run 3D's, but that can make it really hard to rotaye in the mains. Too much side bite. The crappy part was, the week before that race, I turned the best laps I ever did by 2 second per lap. I didnt change anything, then what you saw happened, lol. But like i said, the track is never exactly the same. Outdoor no sugar racing ftw, lol.

idk what your running for tires on the rear, but id think the jconcepts hybrids would be nice maybe aka impacts.

Anyway, a visual is always nice. Here are 3 pics of the same tire. worn out or not?
to me it looks like the 3rd rib from the left has lost 1 of its edges.

I've still got some ribs in my tyre box that have have the ribs actually peeling off and I still consider them good enough for club practice - those are not anywhere near bald yet :O
Talk of tyre wear tho, rather jealous of you guys with soft tracks - 1 set of tyres per night (3-4 x5min heats) is all we get

I was running holeshot 2.0's with Proline blue inserts.
yeah, maybe the guy that lapped me, lol. Did you notice my fast lap was chasing the leader after he lapped me, lol.

I thought he had too much brakes as well but it's hard to say when your not driving or there in person.
Wild, I'll be running on an untreated track all summer too that is mostly 8th scale. Here's some videos from it. You can see how drastically different the surface gets LOL

Haha, maybe..
But on a serious not, what is your brake EPA at? Like Bob said maybe to much brake?
Here is a general idea:
17.5: 60% and lower
13.5: 67% and Lower
Mod: 70% and lower
(please correct me if I am wrong)

that was 80% max brake on the esc (viper) 100% epa on the radio. when yiou saw me spinning out, I was barely taping the brake. Last weekend I dropped it to 65% on the esc. someone here suggested setting so the tires dont lock up. That was better, but still having other issues. I had drag at 20% on the viper, but have since removed it all together. Buggy rolls forever now, lol. A local suggested that my drag was the issue on the table top. he said you kinda need to stay on the throttle a little or it will spin out. I tired the brake changes, but still spinning out, lol.
