AusJustin,

I had the same problems as well and thanks to the guys here on the thread Ive been able to fix the problem, however you will need to face the fact that you will have to rebulid these diffs every 8 to 10 days at the track.

Just like WC said get the new rebuild kit, and what I did was use the old shims plus the new shims on the rebuild kit so I have two shims under each sun gear and remove the outside small shim on the outdrive that goes between the diff case and the outdrive. Use alot of green slime under the shims and around the diff case seals so the 5k oil lasts until the next rebuild.

no prob. Personally for my previous sc10 4x4 I ordered the front spring kit and used that on the rear. that actually worked well. For indoor carpet blues fronts on the rear worked well, outdoors I think I was at white or greens fronts on the rear. Combined with the M2C toe in block at 3.5 degrees and the center diff, car was very fast.

yes , I got a practically brand
new Sc10 4x4 from a teammate , its called kick down ......

Watched my Teammates John W & Luke Smith lay it down last night in 4w Sc..

They make it look kinda obvious the Ae is still setting the pace on indoor clay ..

Going to tune my Sc the same and share the latest set-up info from the Ae team after I finish the rebuild today .

OK thanks.. There isnt a length difference between the front and rear springs is there? I'm thinking of buying the spring kits but also don't want to drop $30. For right now I just might pick up the blue rears. I guess I would want to go with a stiffer spring.

You will need to use those little C clip things that go on the shock shafts to raise up the shock cup. Few posts about that here.

For springs, yellow rear is the heaviest rear. for those who need more stiff spring rate, that is why we went with fronts on the rears.

Got my truck listed. Looking to get a B4.1 FT with at least an ESC included in trade or cash listed.

Ah ok, got it. That makes sense I do have some of the c-clips and I'll just order a front spring kit. Thanks again Cain
