SC10 4x4 Thread
yup, he went prolite. From what I gather from what he has said, they are seeing a benefit with the lighter prolite at his track.
I'd be curious to see what other similar light designs would do as well, especially the dominus in a valid race trim as it offers the option of a center fluid filled diff.
Me personaly, Tekno SCT410 comes in today. vids at indoor race events show excellent quick transition handling capabilities, excited to see how it does on indoor carpet this weekend.

In short - check the order and direction of the stuff behind the slipper on the shaft (if you have it on).

The Pro-Lite is the fastest Sc4x4 on the planet ....
Goes way faster , lap times average same as my 4w buggy ...
Note of interest
Mike Brown , one of our local N/w racers..
Won the N/w Shoot Out at Trcr with the Pro-Lite a few weeks ago ..
Ae did not tell you guys and only posted a picture of Luke Smith's wins instead..
Fact : Ae tells their sponsored driver to only drive the Sc10 4x4.
I am only taking advatage of a faster ride from Ae, you guys feel free to do the same....
When UPS arrives ?
Send it back immediately for a refund ....
That guy you know with the Tekno ?
He has been struggling with the
thing , was faster with the Durango ..
I said it once already ...

Thank you for posting how great the Prolite is. In the future, could you keep your comments on the dedicated Prolite thread? Because some of us are still running the other chassis, and your comments since you sold your sc104x4 are just cluttering this thread up.
You can find it here:

Thanks,

Right ...
So is WC officially sponsored by Thunder Tiger? Congratulations man, we all knew you could do it!! I cant believe you are getting away from AE bu t I always say everything happens for a reason! Can you get me a hook up on one of the thunder tiger motorcycles, those things are way cool!
Back on topic, Anyone still run the stock zero offset wheels? Heard a rumor that AE may make there own +3mm's possibly.
My FT SC10 4x4 is now completely cleaned, rebuilt, and sitting with no electronics as it will remain. I run on an outdoor 1/8 scale track where traction varies from great to terrible from 1 heat to the next. Ruts and rocks are plenty. Myself and a couple teammates got these trucks to handle quite well but just couldn't get them great. I see comments about the Prolight claiming "fastest SC4x4 on the planet." I'm sure on certain styles of tracks under certain conditions it shines. Like others I would love to see how this truck would perform on the type of track that I race on. Not all of us race on well groomed indoor tracks.
Looking forward to vids of you doing this WC with either a prolite or sc10 4x4. Also looking forward to posts showing the actual laptime differences the owners of the Tekno's have versus their previous vehicles too. Same with your Prolite and your previous sc10 4x4.
Already done that.... ....

We have mass fast guys coming to Scotty Ernest Show Down tour #1 @ TRCR next Feburary ..
BK ,Gregory, Ryan C , Kody , and many more ...
