I received your PM and started looking into an answer for you.

Well He never called me back but a new Reventon Pro showed up at the door today!!

I understand glitches happen with systems and as soon as I got in contact with the techs at Speed Passion they reacted quickly and more than took care of me while being apologetic the entire time. I'm really happy with how and how quickly this problem was resolved was once Speed Passion became aware. Rare thing for too many vendors now a days.
I'm glad I could help get your car back on the track.

Cain is correct in his breakdown.

You can look at our direct sales website or at your local hobby shop and review the Reventon "S" or the Reventon Stock Club Race ESCs. Both are close to the same price range.

07Forester is correct and here is the direct link to the connectors.

Would anyone like to share their experience in adjusting the mechanical timing on their motor?

Thanks!

He did mention that the sensor unit rests on top of a rubber ring which may make it hard to slide if not loosened well. I chickened out at this point as I didn't know how far to go before the endbell came off. From his experience, he told me that reassembly was nothing to look forward to as the magnetic rotor was finicky to align and frustrating as heck to get through the bearing.

Thanks again for helping out. I look forward to your findings.
You are not required to remove the endbell, but I recommend it. If done improperly or hastily you could damage the sensor board by just loosening the the endbell.

There is a way, or some say a trick, to getting the rotor back through the stator and bearing that I use. It would take a picture or short video to explain. Let me see if we can work something out in that area.

Are you running the GT 2.1 Pro Stock ESC? I do not believe you can run Mod428 on it because it was designed with "stock" racing in mind (10.5 and up motors). This week I can verify and post back, but I am fairly certain my statement is correct.

What ESC you have? Reveton S, R? What ESC firmware is using? For example Reventon S Modify0 V20-dfc6

Did you read my post? I tried the IP in the video and the IP in the manual. I can connect to the "network" but when I open the app and try to connect, it tells me wifi disconnected.

Reventon s, got it last thursday. Got home, Put it in my SC10, downloaded the software from SP website. Said to update firmware to v1.3, i did. Then hooked up ESC, and screen did not show "hook up ESC" BUT bedtime. Friday, they posted new software. Came home, redowloaded new software. Hooked up LED box sometimes is gives me option, sometimes no to update to v1.4 firmware. but then after that it sometimes kept asking me to update again, or hook up esc when esc was hooked up. Not going to get to run ir for a while. Plus a member had a new LCD in package. when i get it ill try again. and see if i can change it from Stock0 or 1 and what not. The update even says better options with the LCD box, and to upgrade. (next ESC will be a Reventon R. Dont think i need a Prostock right now with how little i get to track.

A few questions for you before we move on.

What iOS device are you using?
Does this device have it's own internet access outside of using WIFI?

I tried with an iPhone 5 and iPad 3.

iPhone 5: Yes, it had LTE connectivity when I tried.
iPad 3: No, it was only connected to the "Speed Passion" network when I tried.

when assembling I put the front of the motor on the rotor and then turn the motor over and push the end of the rotor on the bench while fitting the back end on. Then move into position, turn the ends and insert the screws. they go together very easily this way.

You don't appear to accept PM's. I'll PM my email to 07forester and SPTech. Can you get it from them? Once you enable PM's, I'll be happy to send it to you as well.

Thanks for the help.

Yes it is the prostock 2.1. I had 508 stock in it then 205mod then 428 mod and wanted to go back to 205mod and couldn't. I had the Richards brothers try to help and they couldn't either.

I got mod 428 on mine. Went back and forth between stock and mod to see what exactly was turned on and off.

I am actually curious how strong is the GT2.1 Pro stocks in comparison to the GT2.0 Pros. with the right software and fan added, can these push around a 4x4 SCT?
