SC10 4x4 Thread

If you are using the original slipper setup then yes you would use just one of the regular garodisc pads and the exotek slipper hub on the inside with no garodisc.......

Just to show the differences between the two Garodisc's vs. slipper pad:
To the left is obviously the garodisc which I ran for almost a month before switching it out with the exotek inner hub.
To the right is the slipper pad which was only ran for one day at the track.

The slipper pad was just about fully glazed and you can tell I had to tighten down the clutch nut alot since the pad is showing signs of indents from the hub.
The garodisc has no major indents but after a month of use it does have slight glazing but remember this was done after a months use and if I were to scuff it up with sand paper it'd be like brand new.......

Thank you for the informative feedback. I can not find the exotek inner hub on their site. Do you have a link? I have been also thinking, why don't I just throw the VTS slipper basket in my 2WD and then order the center diff..
Do you see any reason that it may bee too much for the 2wd?
edit: is this it? : http://www.exotekracing.com/sc10-4x4...-front-clutch/
Thx!
And yes the VTS setup will work with the sc10 2wd I actually have three VTS setup's and I used one on my T4 and it worked out great so the 2wd sc10 should be the same..........
The exotek hub is out of stock everywhere so hopefully exotek will have more supply soon.
And I've seen many on here and at my track ditch the AE pads for the garodisc's or center diff. so go figure...................
I have at least shown the difference between what happens with the AE slipper pads after about 5 packs of run time compared to the garodisc's after about 4x the amount of run time the AE pads had and which are in better condition.
When my track opens back up I'll even try and post video's of the performance diff. between the two............
I have respect for you as well, the only thing that I disagree with is whenever someone disagree's with the quality of AE's products you get offended/butt hurt I don't know what and then try to state things without actually providing any given facts.
