One other thing you could try is getting some traction compound like Stickkicks. .There Roja stuff used as a marinate (spray on tires, bag em, and then use) is really amazing. Heck, you could even do same compound tires front and rear and use a different sauce on each. I have been very impressed with the stuff so far.

Its cheap , no glue & the parts already hanging

could sand it down & go blue though yeah think ?....
Go to the local craft store and pick up a set of blue knitting needles for $3.00 , they are hollow and long enough after you cut them with a tubing cutter.

With me, it's the HD ballcups from "tapping" the pipes too much, part # ASC91051. Once one pops off from a hit, it seems to be weakened. It pops off more easily after. They seem to be brittle as the first one I broke actually cracked open. The second one slightly cracked. The third didn't show any damage but it kept popping off. The added weight of my new Exotek chassis and the added punch of my new Tekin Pro4 might have something to do with it, not to mention I sometimes drive faster than my driving skills allow. I'll have some whine with that cheese!

On my SC10 2wd, I bought the Lunsford ballcups & turnbuckles. In over a year and a half, I haven't had any problems with turnbuckles popping off. For the 4x4, Lunsford makes turnbuckles but the don't supply ballcups. The package says I must provide my own. I'd pick up a set in a minute if they made them.

I too splintered a brace I purchased, then I made my own from a knitting needle and a piece of piano wire I threaded at both ends. It is much stronger and not much heavier.

Here's the shopping list so far:

Rpm Arms
idler gears
drive belt
pulley/clicker set
steering/caster blocks
steel hat bushings
spare 62t 32p spur
blue front springs (for the rear)
Anything else I need to add to the spares?

Oh yea, picked up the Tenshock 4600 for my motor.
I still need a ESC though... Tekin?? or Viper?? Decisions...Decisions

Im gonna get white front springs for the rear, they are a tad bit softer and might help.with rear traction around turns.

Id get belt pulleys too

Seen a few MTK clutch baskets used on the boards if you are wanting one, and of course you could buy new too.

You can solve the "popping" issue by going to separate balls, caphead screws and washers just large enough to "capture" the rod end. The issue would probably be finding the proper sized balls...Ask Coyote if he has any!

Vito, the least expensive way to more consistent clutch performance is the two disk garodisc setup from rcshox.com.

I've been very happy with that mod.
