We race all year in Missouri. We just move indoors in the winter. And we put the nitro on the self.

Summer time everyone goes out side to race. But when the season gets to cold, indoors kicks in and then its 44 time... Oh yeah.

Yep, in the northeast, summer brings out the nitro fun, then when it gets cold, everyone settles back into their indoor tracks.

Since the bb shocks seem to be a popular topic and I know someone asked about it befor, here are pics of my b44.1 with dex 210 shocks on it. the front has the 23mm stroke shocks with 1.2m x6 hole w/35wt and the rear has 31mm stroke 1.3mm x6 hole w/30wt oil in it. I had to limit the fron uptravel by about 3mm and the rea about 6mm, so if this is something you are considering doing, bye the 23mm for the front and the 29mm for the rear.

The suspension feels so much more plush and soft, yet it takes about twice the distance dropped to bottom out as the v2 shocks did on it. I plan on hitting the track up sometime this week to see how it feels.

Looks nice Symmetricon, I bet folks could pick up those shocks from the guys converting the V3 410's back to little bores like the factory guys are doing.

The best mod for me is going bb springs and adding the Ghea pistons. Night and day difference between stock piston and springs. So smooth.

Well, I just got back from the track after trying out the durango shocks and I am sold, it handed better in every way, and I was ably to run faster thn my SCTE by .5sec on a nasty, rough and loose/sandy 1/10 track.

Hey sym, have u tried 2 stage pistons on your 44 yet?? I run them with the v2 shocks with bb kyosho springs yellow fr/ white rear 30/25 and they work great on big outdoor 1/8 scale tracks, and honestly if your only .5 sec faster than your scte, your 44 has alot more left in it,as theres not a sc truck on our track that can even come close to me

I have not, i have been trying to figure out which direction to go with the suspension. I have the spring right, durango BB, but it seems like the buggy doesnt like a rough track too much, and it also seems to chassis slap fairily easy. my dex 210 is so much more stable and smooth around the track. Also, my testing was done when the track was completly dry and loose, im talking like driving in a sand box. when it is wet, the 4x4 buggies are blazing, but when dry the lighter vehicles are not so quick. Oddly enough, my fastest lap times have been with me 2wd dex 210 when the track is whet and prepted.

My buggy has big bore springs, there Losi's and I like it. Might try the Avid springs next.
