Hey guys, I am running my first race with the b44.1 this weekend and it happens to be a bigger event. I am only used to driving a b4.1. How do i need to change my driving with the b44.1? More or less braking? Also, I should probably go conservative on my setup. Any tips?

Stay in the throttle over jumps and bumps or the car nose dives! Pick one of the set ups on rc10.com that is similar to your track and you should be very close other than shock oil.

I have ran one. 16,17/81 on our track. It will work the slipper. So either crank it down or keep it serviced. Ran it for a couple of weeks and then the diff went weak and failed. Costed me a podium in a local trophy race the night it went out.
I'm sold on the Sonic 6.5... But the 5.5 is still my runner up choice. Ran it with the stock spec. Smooth as silk.

They only come with a ball diff, not to sure if you can get a gear diff for them

Ball diffs are better IMO. And AE hasn't released any gear diffs. The B44.1 is nothing like a SC10 4x4. They are clumsy compared to a B44. I would call a B44 a Ninja and an SC a Boxer. Big difference.

I am looking forward to winter just so I can run a B44.1 again. Its my favorite Rc racing.

Some are making them out of Durango diffs and I think the caster or C car might be a close chance at fitting one?

Looking pretty good. I will start building all new in a month or so. I hate the winter but I love the 4x4 class.
