I run a b44.1 with a lrp 6.5 and it gets smoking hot like burnin eyes hot. I heard the lrP are suppose to run hot but not 220 hot? I went down on the pinion and up on sour and temps got even hotter. Could there be something in the drivetrain cause in this heat? If so what could it be? I run 17/84 gearing

You can try cutting ventilation holes in your body so there's air flow.
Both esc and motor are covered under the body which can really heat things up in there if there are no holes. That's how it was for me at least.
Also check the drivetrain to see that nothing's binding.
Lastly, tighten up your slipper and see if that helps.
If your slipper is too loose, then you're applying throttle that's not actually being applied to the ground, mashing the throttle more than you really should.
Also was an issue for me as a cause for heat.

if your slipper is to tight and your running a 84 spur gear your going to melt down your car( your putting a ton of load on your motor ans esc on the bottom end), run 17-18/81 and set your slipper so it slips for about 1-2 feet....i always loosen my slipper up what to loose and work my way in...those are 2 major problems you have...over geared and to tight on the slipper...the only thing i have seen run hot is a novak havak pro with a fan....POS
