remember the point of 2 stage is to allow the shocks to absorb the small stuff while having enough pack for the hard landings. if your oil is that thick the compression is already too slow so even the "quicker" rebound is also going to be too slow. On a flat ultra high grip track (astro turf, carpet) you would be fine but i promise you will achieve faster laptimes with oils in the sub 30 range, thats how i designed them!
Tried the lighter oils, found the thicker weights more to my liking. Will have my friend video our next session an let me know what you see. Not against another eye on my setup.

Clips are on the bottom and the rubber bumper thingy is the black part second to last row centerish, but you should already have that at the bottom of your shock shaft now.

For about as long as I've had them... November or December? Ran thicker oil with stock pistons then 2 stage recommend and went up from there. Went to 45/50 and came down from there to what suited me. Kinda how it find my setting is to go from one end to the other to know where within the range I want to be. Right or wrong, that's how I've found my setups from rc to 1:1 scale cars to moto-x to dh mtb.
Anyway, if I went past what rcshox says is its safe zone, I would not quarrel if it broke... it's not an expensive part. So it hasn't broke so far, if it does Marcus will see another order from me

If it doesn't come back up something is either bent or over tightened.

I will switch between the VTS and the v2 Center diff.

Reason being: I am about ready to throw the whole diff in the garbage after installing 5 of those pins.
This has nothing to do with the quality of the product and only with my annoyance of tiny parts that won't install quickly.

Check to make sure you have not tighten down any of the shock lock nuts to tight . Also look for bent suspension pins & bent shock shaft .

Give pins & ball cups a good clean....

The Ae VTS slipper performance is the best , better keep it handy as you may need it again ...
