Don't use 8mm of clips on each shock AND the rubber bumper.
Its rubber bumper and clips to total 8mm.

Listening (or reading) an argument (or discussion) between multiple people is the best way to learn/understand something.

Sooo I guess we don't need the SPCA..just make em read the SC10 4x4 manual and god will take care of the rest..

When it's a constructive argument yes, when proven on the track even better.

When someone disagrees with no factual evidence and acts like a baby that is another story..

You can use wadded toilet paper so long as it keeps 8mm of the shock shaft from sliding inside the shock body.

Do we really need 2+ pages of people saying the same exact thing?

Hmmm....I wonder if there is a legitimate reason to NOT run 8mm of limiters.... maybe if you have the suspension totally laid down, or totally stood up, the limiting would be different?

I'd try it, but I'm too lazy, plus I'm sure I'd do it wrong...

I've been on one track were even 4mm of limiters severely affected laptimes compared to no limiters.

All in jest.

You mentioned to add 8mm of clips, it's 8mm total including ths rubber bumper, not in addition to.

Also, side note, you don't have to disassemble the shock... just clip the clips on the shaft.
