yeah, the stock ones are black up front and are #91043. The rear are just as stated. No retainers other then the bearings retaining them.

I seem to recall you stating repeatedly that you didn't have a problem with the stock slipper?

But Cherry....I thought there was nothing wrong with the original, stock slipper.... Now you think the FT slipper is dialed? Why would they change it if there was nothing wrong with it?

Dang Mac...you beat me to it.... but I'm not removing my comment....Cherry likes to ride me every time I mention that the stock slipper was inconsistent and mushy.... I gotta get my digs in where I can.

Check out pro match. 5200 50c for $49.95, company has been around for a long time and is american owned. They have a one year warranty. I just ran my for the first time last weekend. Run time was much better than the Gens and it didn't fall off near as soon or hard as the gens. Up until this week I ran Gens in my buggy and truck, had a 2s dump a cell in big race 3 weeks ago in the main and one week later my 4s died in my buggy in a main after 7mins and wont take a charge. They had only 30 or so cycles on them. Will be ordering the pro match 4s soon.

i gotta say, the ft trucks a bit of a let down. i do like the chassis brace, and the new steering rack that dosent require any dremmeling. ae should have done a 1 piece graphite/plastic chassis, braces, arms and shock towers, and done something with the diff bushings atleast.

Here's some interesting tidbits of info on the FT kit.

Every enhancement that has been done on this truck was developed from this thread. (The brace, clutch basket, saddle packs, etc. of course we knew it would have the bling. )

Now I'm normally pretty dumb but me thinks the AE guys are watching this thread closely.

So, are you guys saying that if I got the center diff from Marcus I could use a CC 1406 5700kV with no problems?

I agree, the majority of people already have these mods done. So what is new "nothing but the body" really. It isnt like it has new plastics or diff bushing like we all thought.

All I have to buy to make my truck a FT is FT shocks and the FT screw set. Thats the only difference between our trucks and the FT

As of now I would just be happy with new diff bushings!!! To me this is the worst part of the truck.

Has anyone thought to take material out of the outdrive instead of putting a bump stop in the shock?
