I don't think the FT kit comes with tires, but you wouldn't want to use them even if it did... their junk.
You will want DE or JConcepts +3mm wheels and a good set of tires, not the stock stuff.

it was from doing practice laps at Mike's, it was very windy that day and I wrecked a bit more than usual. The symptoms were that every time I ran a new battery it started popping and I had to go back and tighten the belt. I did not figure it out until I was rebuilding the diffs.

Just meant to be an FYI LOL

I guess the "v2" they could be referring to is either the RCShox V2 diff, or MTK's V2 clutch basket......

a) of course your LHS is going to tell you that the V2 isn't necessary...they can't sell it to you!
b) if they are referring to the V2 basket...I agree....of course, MTK is up to V5 now, and it is similar to AE's basket, only lighter, which is a good thing.

I can say the Ae VTS is awesome as well !

The VTS triple slipper performance is a dream come true with mass traction , no wheel spin .
The incredible acceleration it brings ?

Means
I can rule with on any track, inside or outdoors, carpet, ect ...

Best part ?

Its only $17 .....

Last night was a blast , last changes made the truck even faster than week before .

6 16sec lap last Sat

maybe 14 16sec yesterday

new track record , Tq time record

Losi , Durangos & conversions ...

They are all going to have to step up their game now ...

This is what a tenshock sc411 4600kv in my sc10 4x4 does to turnigy nanotech batteries with killer traction. lol This is a positive testimonial to tenshock, and a negative one for turnigy. Should I submit a warranty claim? hahahahahahaha

I've only had to do it once, and only one side. Couple of other guys at my track have had to do it once or twice as well.

Sucks about the turnigy, however I've had mine for several months and have had no issue's...... I would choose them over gens ace any day because my gens (when I used to run them) would get pretty hot only being a 25c rating when paired with my tekin pro4 combo...........

This whole debate about the rcshox center diff and AE's vts setup is getting old and will go nowhere but useless/endless argument. I have and run both and they both are great, but I will admit the AE vts is alot better with garodisc's then with the AE slipper pads... Still doing testing though but so far so good......

First race day running the v2 diff from RC Shox. Just TQ'd for the A main after a dnf in first qualifier after a ball stud link popped off on the left steering link. First time I've had that happen. Running 5 pins in the diff and this thing is like a sling shot when grabbing throttle. Fingers crossed for the main.

How worn and smashed together are the bullet plugs? If their smashed in and fit loosely they will arc creating enough heat to melt the plastic around the posts.
I refresh mine every month or two as needed.
Much cheaper than ruining lipos.
