Sorry, I don't case triples repeatedly, so maybe I am not the best test driver for these braces. I do however lap the entire field repeatedly. Clearly you have no idea how forces are transferred. I am going to school to be a mechanical engineer, so maybe I can do a virtual modeling project that shows the stress points and stress transfers, to prove that the braces really do fix the problem.

I guess I am going to have to make a diagram to show the forces at work, and where the stress is being transferred, because clearly you don't understand.

Anyone cut holes in there body to let air out when you jump? Can someone post pics also someone told my about screen & shoo goo over the holes? Any tips would be nice. Thanks

You gotta be careful when doing this. Some people have them in their windshields and some tracks will not allow it. Not ROAR approved

I run a Flow-tec body which has cut outs already laid out. You just have to cut them out.

You could screen the holes, but gooing over the holes would do you no good. If you race any ROAR speced events you may just want to pick up a JConcepts or proline flotek that have cutouts for holes as I've heard that ROAR only allows for holes that are "intended" to be cut out. If just for club racing, the take a look at one of those bodies and copy on to your truck. I think the most important venting is in the back right behind the roof, then the front wheel wells to prevent air from standing the nose up.

Bashing, maybe, but not until/unless you actually break the stock parts.

The best place to cut out if your truck doesn't have pre-determined vents is the side windows. Back when short bus started to get popular, and the pro drivers started racing it, they figured out to cut out the side windows. Like others have posted, be sure it is with the rules for your track.

Well that really depends on what type of driver you are and what type of driving you do. If you bash, yes. If you race but crash and break alot of arms, yes. If you race, hardly ever crash, and want the most precise control over your truck, no. RPM stuff is stronger because it is more flexible. Flex is not a desired trait in a suspension component. But if you can't finish a race due to breaking your truck, a little more reliability in lieu of precise handling, may be a worthy compromise.

I am currently running the AE hex conversion parts on my whole F.T., with the exception of JConcept aluminum adapters on the rear. I am also running Hazard rims on all four corners. Now, I am very interested in buying a Proline Flo-Tek body because they are sick looking, but worried I would have issues with rubbing. I believe you have this exact same setup as me (except with JConcept adapters on all corners)... so do you have problems with rubbing when using the Hazards and the Flo-Tek? Thanks Brent!

Nope i havent had a problem with the wheels sticking out to far (therefore causing rubbing) and i have the proline adapters with hazards all the way around. The only rubbing i experienced was when i set my body height to low. I put duct tape on the fenders underneath just to make sure no rubbing occurs and chips the paint
