I believe there are 3 different rates in them.

it's 25 for a set of 3... 3 different springs. 3 different spring rates

the hot news around the block is those Avid springs are what will be mounted to the new AE BB shocks.

Was on my list of things to try. I usually liked a little heavier pack in my truck, so it wasn't at the top of my list. A new adddition will be keeping me away for a little bit now.

I am using the AE transmitter that comes with the SC10 RS and find the steering to be really twitchy. In my real race car I can install a bigger steering wheel to "slow down" the steering input. Has anyone done this on a transmitter by installing a larger wheel?

Just got back from practicing at Glitch. I was running the Maifield 2011 roar nats setup but 35-30wt, 0.5 rear hubs, 0 camber F/R, 0 toe, Avid yellow Front springs and Avid white rears. It felt really good and was great through the whoop section. Never got unsettled and stayed predictable. I had been running blue/green and silver/green. I actually need to dial out some of the steering. Rear end came out a little too easy through the technical section. What change can I make that will do that without changing springs or weight. I'm thinking move the camber link out one hole on the c-hub.

Got them at the Cactus Classic. Avid was there hand packaging them as a pre-release. http://www.rcdriver.com/rcd/index.ph...oduct-spotted/

Mike,
I'm running the 3.0 block with .5 hubs. It's not so twitchy.

Yeah thats what I've got now with 2* anti squat. The rear was great till my tires started to bald. It was dry today. I'm gonna leave it as is for now and see how it feels on Tuesday when its wet. The traction was crazy hooked up from all the rubber you guys left on it yesterday. I'm waiting on a 13.5 sonic to show up at my door. If I still oversteer on Tue, what move should I make?

Here's what I ran at the last Series race. I have made some changes and will test out (hopefully) Tuesday and Thursday before the the Series race Saturday.
I have 3.0 block now.

I am going to lay the front shock down more to the #1 hole and run only 5 shims. I may run a lighter springs all around as well as it's getting a bit more bumpy and go to the #2 shock piston.

Swiss Cheese is right! I have a body for you. Its a flotek with all the vents cut. Works really well and is in great shape. Yours if you want it. Thanks for the tips. Looks like oyr setups are fairly close once you drop to the 1 hole and put softer springs on it. I might ask to drive yours next time we cross and see how your setup feels.

Yeah, it's retired now. Thanks, but I got 2 new ones...
Couple of people drove it last week and asked for the setup. You can drive it anytime.

Method hellcat.....it was a quick 2 hour cut and paint job before last Tuesday's race.
