That's what Cavalieri was running on the track that i run on. Was just trying to get a lil more input. I'll run the same springs then. Thanks
the transmission , will make the car steer way more ...
*use the team weight , or up to 21 gram for the most steering ..
What tires are you using? Where are your shock mount locations? When you press the front, then rear all the way down, do they rebound at exactly the same rate? Good starting points to check...
In short, that chart is wrong.
Well, that's the only thing available. Until manufacturers test their springs the exact same way nothing is going to change.

Hi guys and gals...maybe
So,got my B4.1 working allright, was looking for some stick on weight last race day...But,stick ons look so cheap, and nasty...even with sharpie marker paint job...
A mate showed me these.....
Even match the current trend on gold turnbuckles.
Its a pity it comes with the big 50 gram block,im only using the 4 and 6 gram squares...look awesome mounted, uber neat.
Maybe ask some of the racers at yor track if they have the kit,and arent using the square weights...
Just requires a drill,and a 3mm tap...the tap isnt required,i had 1 loaded,so i used it.
Ignore the stick on,i forgot to pull it off before the pics...

Also,do you think using the alloy screws on the front axle to secure the wheel is tempting fate,or will it be fine...i race mod,and still crash occasionally...I went to the 4/40 screws, the little ones strip to easy
Cheers....and +1 on AE loosing the blue ano.....none of it matches,it looks nasty...im voting gunmetal grey, with gold detailing, shock shafts, turnbuckles, few alloy bits here and there...no more shoddy blue

Users can rate their own springs. Google is chock full of how to articles on how to calculate wheel rate.
That's how I figured out the chart is no good. And how I figured out a certain set of springs I received were actually two different springs (they were both marked the same, and in the same factory sealed package). Upon further inspection, the wire sizes were substantially different.
I can't believe I'm the only one who got "lucky". I can believe I'm the only one who caught it because I was looking.
