It's crazy plush on a 12 second indoor bullring and also on a BIG outdoor nitro track. I run a full size LiPo as well.

I run standard length lipo and use Red/White at one track. Has plenty of steering
at another track Orange/White

You should see a press release for the AVID Precision Springs soon, and we plan to go live on the site within 7-10 days! Sets for buggy/truck rear , buggy front, and truck front will be available first with individuals to follow later.

My basic setups (*this is my current race setup):

*B4 buggy with standard size Reedy wolfpack- Red 3.4 lb front, Red 2.15 lb rear
B4 buggy with shorty Reedy- Yellow 3.0 lb front, Yellow 2.0 lb rear

B44 buggy with large ballast weight- Purple 3.6 lb front, Yellow 2.0 lb rear
*B44 buggy with 1/2 oz- Purple 3.6 lb front, White 1.9 lb rear

I had all of my stuff stolen in Feb, so I haven't run the production AVID springs with the shorty pack.

Will the production version have a color marked on the spring or still come with the shrink wrap?

Everyone I know who runs them all say the same, better than Losi and AE, as good or slightly better than Kyosho. And price is so much better than Kyosho that its a no brainer.

Anyone have a gearing starting point for a 13.5 Orion? Small to medium size indoor high bite track. Thanks!

That gearing is way too low to be fast with a 13.5 on an average track. Try something like 29-30/81 That will put you in the ball park

I'm at 30/69 with my Reedy Sonic 13.5 with my bell at 24, blinky, shorty. Runs stong and 140 after 10 min. Large outdoor.
