Which ackerman setting are you using? The front holes on the rack will give you more aggressive steering.

How big is the wing you are using? We are using a small wing with not a lot of wicker, it does make a difference.

Taper pins typically steer more than BK bars.

Driving style makes a huge difference too. As someone mentioned, brake into the corner straight, pick up the throttle early and drive out of the corner.

Tires wing and how much travel you have on the rear shocks all make for a big difference in steering.
Try different tires try smaller wing or limiting the rear travel and u should get more steering. If you run mod the cab forward bodies make a little difference.

I would try changing the rear anti roll to the black one and 27.5 losi rear oil. A 6.5 wing would help to.

Why would a worlds edition have big bores. They did not use big bores for the event

Just noticed on the worlds setup sheets that they were running 3.0 + 0 on the rear arm mounts. Is the team running 0 squat now?? I've been through four 44's and took about a year off from it and just got a 44.1. We never ran 0 squat a few years ago.... Just curious

To whoever asked about the Kyosho big bore shocks fitting. They do fit but you might want to space them away from the towers so they don't hit, but they do fit. The rear shocks just make the body a tight fit.

I have in hand a 10.5 Tekin Redline (16 degrees of advance on the can), 84t spur and a 20t pinion. Sound okay for knocking the dust off my r/c skills? I'm likely going to get a HW Xerun 60A, and that little breakout box for fine tuning. This rig will never see a track, as there are none around here. It WILL see kiddie style MX tracks and lots and lots of paved parking lots.

Would I be better served by an ESC than can handle a higher Kv motor (say 6k or so) or would the car be too feisty to handle? I plan on putting Proline's Dirt Hawgs on it for general asshattery.

I think this refers to 3 deg inboard toe, 0 deg outboard toe. Anti squat is 2 deg for all setups as far as I know.

Just wondering has anyone tried running the front scrubs vs the suburbs on the front? Would it have more steering with the scrubs like tapers vs bk bars?

Also what does everyone run for foam in the front? aka closed cell, proline, or regular foam and what is the difference between the foam and the closed cell/molded?

Not sure on you're tire Q?, but I really like the AKA red closed cells. The profile seems shorter because the tire won't crown. Even the front tire, it will be flat instead or a rounder shape from cramming all that foam into the front tire, with better side wall strength and a more consistant run over time. Regular foams have a short life, they have a sweet spot for a couple of weeks while the closed cell last 10 times that. I have 10 weeks on mine. And there reusable. But our track doesn't eat tires so I have the best of both worlds. Tires that last and inserts that will out last the tire. They are an item worth the cost IMO.
