Anyone have any idea on the Ntc3 center one-way fitment?

No doubt, one day soon I should have a b44 xxxx. Just got a sc10 4x4 so after its up and running/crashing I'll start seriously doing some homework on the 44..

That's the rear shock shaft. You need # 9723 for the fronts. Rod ends are correct. May need some spring cups also in case of a break and you can't find it on the track. # 9724

The center one-way is for the front gearbox, not where it attaches to the spur, so the front wheels do not brake only accelerate, the rear wheels still brake...

Default RPM dual stage shock pistons

Hello everyone. I recently purchased a B44.1 to get into racing at my local track. I bought some RPM dual stage shock pistons. Anyone else tried these? I will install them this weekend to see how they affect my buggy. I couldn't find any info on them in the b44 thread or this thread.

This should help: http://www.rpmrcproducts.com/faq/pistons.htm

I've used them in my 2wd cars quite a bit.

Default Need help

So here it is. I run the same track every week (high bite clay). My set up is dialed (or was). Here is the issue. When the track is freshly watered the car is dialed.

The problem is if my heat is later and the track starts drying out the rear end is super loose. Not just a little loose but a whole different car.

Is there something minor that can get changed based on the track conditions that can quickly go back and forth between?

Hopefully this makes sense.

Are you running a rear swaybar with your setup?

Scratch that then...

Try playing with different compound tires if nothing else. If you are losing rear traction, it could be remedied by changing to a harder/less agressive front tire, or by going all around to a softer tire compound. That's the quickest thing I can think of.

Default New (?) Front Springs

I was just watching the IFMAR 4wd post-race conference and Cavalieri mentioned going to a "little bit stiffer spring in the front". Looking at pics and video throughout the event, the fronts have always been silver which I assumed were the 3.85/#6496's (i.e. part of the standard setup). Unless today's fronts were stripped blues 4.20/#6497, they don't appear to be cut truck fronts or rears, this would mean there is a new spring in existence.

Anyone have knowledge about a new spring and/or was this a custom part? Thanks in advance.
