As far as ruff outdoor tracks go its great as long as u do all the required mods to it, such as clutch basket, 2 stage shock pistons, saddle pack conversion, yellow springs front blue rear, chassis brace, and pin mod

I run on a large, rough and bumpy outdoor track and I only use a clutch basket and a chasing brace I made at home. You don't need the saddle pack setup or pin mod IMO. It all depends. 2 stage pistons are all up to you.

It's cool to see a member rocking the old school Ford body.
My front left blew up my first day out after the night before build. I had to find a way to slap on the Proline shocks till the stuff came in stock on Tower. It was... Lame.

the MMP is a great Speedo even with a big pocket. the RX8 is just a higher end speedo with appropriate better performance. I've ran my MMP with 3 different motors and it is fantastic. Ice cold through my 150% throttle torture and I love it.

Welcome to a Real RC Truck, man. You want something you don't have to touch, get a Losi. (I guess)

Our trucks are tuned with our hearts, and skill. Each one of these trucks these guys have are so unique and talented in their own regard, the next guy could never just 'drive' it and look good. A Slash 4x4 or Losi will do that for ya. No offense or anything, but this truck 'will' require some effort on part.

SC10 4x4 = Blood and Sweat Performance.
TEN-SCTE = Bolt On Performance.

Well im most likely going to run a 4x4 sc as a second class for indoor/outdoor season in 2012, so i dont want a truck that requires a good amount of tuning. Im most likely going to get a 4x4 sc thats not a assoicated or losi i want to be diffrent and want to try a diffrent manf.

Since ive ran losi and associated for a while.

I got my Sc 10 4x4 before almost everyone of you guys ...

Only one part has been replaced , a spur gear due to a loose motor screw...
( 1 body as well, switched to Jc raptor)

O ok, a mess of tires too...

But that's all folks....

Ae has built the most bullet proof ride I have ever had in many , many years of racing r/c cars....

Broke:
1 Rear Topshaft - think I was running wobbly
2 Idler gears - until tuned appropriately with pinned mod

Don't exactly fit "broke" but worth mentioning:
4 Stock a-arms - Only replaced due to fear of bow, not broken.
1 Shock explosion from not rebuilding prebuilt shocks, not broken.
1 belt worn out due to 'use' over 6months

I think that the only "must do" mod is fixing the slipper and a good set of tires that fit the track, everything else is personal preference.

I would get the 3pad set of garodisc's first and try out that setup using the stock slipper (using only 2 pads) then if not happy add the basket or do the pin mod.

EXCELLENT race day for AE at the houston TOys for Tots event !! 150 entries with almost 40 SC. i got Q2 and won the A main. Sym won the B main bumping him to the A where he finished 5th. sour diesel got into the B main but got marshall screw while working his way up to second! the center dif has proven its weight in gold! SYm and i were both running them with no issues and great performance! Once again strategy played an important role. SMiley (who is just freakin fast!!) runs a losi and i KNEW that if i was able to push him, he would not make the full ten minutes. With that in mind i ran as hard as i could and stayed within 10 seconds of him so he could not "cruise", everytime he tried to slow down i would get within 2 seconds of him, i actually lead the first few laps until i made a small error and he got around me. well needless to say around 9m45sec he dumped as well as all of the other losi's (and somehow even SYM????) i passed him and got the win!! i would rather be able to just beat him straight up, but i got nothing for him yet, its not my truck, its me!!

All and all RCshox 2 stage piston equipped vehicles won or Tq'd just about every class!
