Any tips for the Kyosho SIII kyosho cup addition

Just building the siii Evo kysho cup addition. Any tips on setup or biulding this car. I don't race however am close to SERCCC in dandenong Vic.

Chaya....Chassis 3 or 4 mm

Hi Chaya,

The stock chassis is 3mm however the side edges have been folded up 30 degrees. This would give it great strength.

I just run my SIII in using 16% nitro.....My head did not turn purple and I found I now run my needle 1.5 turns out. Still heaps of smoke comes from the exhaust. I am changing to 20% coolpower fuel...

Stinger size ver power band

I run a touring car (Kyosho v-one SII) with novarossi CX12P and Nova pipe. I just put on a silicon extender on my exhaust stinger (3/4" length) to deflect the oil away from my rear tire and body...

Clutch

It does not line up well and you maybe able to see a spacer between the clutch and the nut where the shoe spring has to sit. this was so the pinoin and spur lined up. trouble with moving the engine...

Exhaust

Oops sorry..If you drive like me and when you hit something instead of your stinger bending it allows the exhaust to move into the car by 1/2" and the spring takes some of the impact.
