Differences between the II and the III?

i dun know much about the II, but from what i read was that the III has:

-New servo layout (flat down now)
-2 Speed
-Better engine GXR15 w. new kind of pull start
-Filter cover
-No handle to carry the car (or it could be i cant find it)
-Somekind of so called lightweight front spool diff (crap if u ask me think i will change to a better one)

The S3 is much of the same as RRR. Based from the review ive read from the kyosho site, the design was inspired ( almost the same ) with the triple R. You just have to change the upper deck to look the same as the RRR. . .
And from your pix, it is totally different from the S2. . . . from the orientation of the laydpown servo. and the new location of the battery & reciever ( side by side) from the fuel tank. ( fuel tank now is located in the middle). .Im not sure if it has the same 2 speed tranny with the RRR. but the gear ratio as as written is identical to RRR 8.13/5.6:1. One thing I observed was the new design of chassis ( same as Fwo5).

By the way Mr. Dragon. what is the thichness of the chassis? 3mm or 4mm??

thanks for sharing the pix. . .how much is the price of your kit

Hmm not sure if u can just change the deck like that.... the middle so called deck is a ONE piece kind of thing... the 2 servos, batt, receiver and tank are all intergrated together.

After conversion it should be around USD 330. (hope i didnt get chopped)

lower deck seems like 2.5/3.0mm or even between to 2 (gotta lousy ruler )

Btw know anywhere i can find a kyosho parts list? preferably wif pictures, cos the kyosho main site dont seem to show the full parts list...

What happened to your manual? Kyosho usually has a pretty good layout of the car in there with all the part #'s. From your pictures the 2speed gears look like they are from a madforce or GP20.

I do have the manual, but its rather confusing... it says:

OPTIONAL PARTS 2:
use these parts to install a front diff:
-beval shaft
-diff gear set
-pulley set (rrr)
-Diff Pulley set (rrr)
-Diff joint (19)

Does this mean i have to get ALL these parts to make just 1 front diff set? And the brackets (rrr) do they mean its originally ment for the V-one RRR?

and if those numbers by the side mean YEN...
578+945+630+945+630=3728=USD 33.56=SGD56.44 (is this about right?)

Yes you will need those parts, it should have the part #'s too. You are probably right about the prices in YEN, but those are list prices so you should be able to do better. Kyosho did the same thing with the RR/EVO. It didn't come with a front diff so you had to buy all the parts. Later they offered a complete kit that was cheeper. I would like to see that manual, I'm sure it will be on Kyoshos site soon.

If the manual didnt mention anything regarding brackets on your option parts, then definitely the V1s3 brackets and the V1r3 brkts are the same. . .

Hi Sir,

the bracket (rrr) signifies that you can use the diff gear of RRR, they can share these parts, actually i have a Vone SII, and i remove the TCD gear and transfered it into my RRR..so i think u can use it without any prob.

Most of the Vone series can share parts...

You can try RC Champ, or RC Mushroom for parts..

hope this helps..

Default Vone SIII Improves

The concept of Vone SIII is more likely similar to RRR, it combines both Vone SII & RRR structure..so it should be a great car, easy to setup and gives more speed than the SII..
