Default V-One-S

You have a very nice website. Too bad, I am not staying in Manila but Singapore. I own a V1S too. Upgrade so far...
1) Kyosho 30k & 5k silicone oil into my differential
2) Trinity silicone oil (F)90wt & (R)60wt in my shocks
3) Kyosho 2-speed
4) Kyosho Road springs set
5) OS Max 12 CV (with FORM heat sink)
6) Square SG-1 tuned-pipe (newest family member)

My cat setup is quite ok for the track I road hog at. At least can manage to smell some fast drivers' smoke...

Tyre: Hobao (med)
Insert: Speed Mind (Med/Red)
Rims: Hobao (White 5 spokes)

Front
Toe: Neutral 0 degree
Camber: Neutral 0 degree
Spring: Hard

Rear
Toe: In +1 degree
Camber: -2 degree
Spring: Soft

The rest of the stuffs are still in original form.

Waiting for the V1S Front one way that will be available in late July.

Talking V-One S

Vifer,

You are using 30K and 5K silicon oil for your differential
30K for Rear? 5K for Front? is that correct?

Default Diff Oil

3ok for the front and 5k for the rear. Trying to simulate a front one way driving experience.

Default V-one-s setup

Hows goin guys, My v-one-s is set up as follows.

Front;
1deg toe out
1 deg camber / \
All castor blocks at front
1000wt mugen diff oil
Take off cs32 tyres
60% Dual rate
60wt shock oil single hole piston

Rear
2.5deg toe in
1deg camber / \
3000wt mugen diff oil
Take off cs 27 tyres
60wt shock oil 2 hole piston

Novarossi cx12p engine
Novarossi 51602 tuned pipe

We race primarily on a pretty rough parking lot set-up so the car is a bit twitchy but then again isn't every fast car.

anyone out there has a problem with the V-1S 2 speed?
Mind is very unreliable, the 40T gear wears out in no time by the pop-out lever.

Yes 60%...................
Unconventional, however our track is rougher than a $2 hooker,
so the car is set-up for the sharpest turn on the track.
I'm picking up my LYNX 3D this week so the exp adjustment should make things a little more civilised.
By the way the car has never had worse than a 2nd finish.
Bizzare but true.
