Esc V2 in blinky mode

Plan to run this in my WGT at the IIC with a 13.5 in blinky mode X12 Motor with standard as it comes rotor.
Need a starting point on motor 2 dot,3 dot 4 dot. Plus rollout.

Am I the oldest runner in WGT or even the the whole of the IIC im 63 years young.
I would guess there a few older guys running ,but claiming the record till i hear otherwise.

Problem only seems to be with the 6300 65c packs ,used CRC for 4 years now with out a problem .Just seems to be latest batch of cells.

CRC 1S LIPOS PROBLEM

I have 5 packs of the new CRC 1S lipos 65c pack .
3 of the packs the plastic round the bullet connectors is disintergrating and 2 of the packs are showing signs of cracking cases, any one else...

21.5 X12 IN F1

New class in Uk is looking like 2s ,21.5 boosted in 1/10th F1
car.

Looking for rollout for settings etc. It has been suggested 3,6,8,1 4 dot insert and rollout of 66mm.
Any further info or help...

tyre sizes

with out a doubt car handles best on tyres 51mm all round , but if you want them to last ,55mm all round and they will last for months.
Its down to funds and performance a happy medium would be...

Ive signed up for both WGT classes and cant see why it would be a problem as long as the spacing between heats is convenient.

WGT CLASSES in Uk

we have effectively 3 classes in the Uk but by far the most popular is 1s 10.5 boosted.
1s open modified is a none starter and 2s 17.5 is a very minority class. The 2s 17.5 is a tadge faster than 1s...

Dont waste your cash, the plastic ones are fine, The alloy ones are more stylish but wont help you to go faster.

motor was very cool came off at 33c after 6 minute run. Might try uping the timing and rollout next test session.

test day

i tested on tuesday on a 100ft X 50FT carpet layout.
Rollout of 75mm and 2 notches of advance on motor.Cells used were CRC 6300 65c I was 3 secs a lap slower than using boosted 10.5 .now i dont...
