I had the same impression about the motor timing on the end bell but after I cleaned the motor bearings I replaced the end bell thinking it would not matter the motor would not even start moving....

If you want to keep up with the nitro guys you best solution will be 6 cells and the 3.5. You will need a higher FDR but I am sure you will be much faster then you are now.
