4.1 or 5?

Anyone still running the 4.1 or have you switched to the B5? I don't get out to run my kits as often as I would like so I haven't made the leap to the new kit.

If you have made the leap which...

C Rated

C ratings are exaggerated, I agree. It's all about labeling. Same thing with chargers. I saw my $45.00 Thunder AC6 with another logo on it for $150.00!

Of the limited producers, which does...

Everybody pay attention. This man knows what he's talking about; the picture of a trophy in his avatar proves it.

0 degree hubs

I use the stock U brace so I can't say what that mod will do.

I just changed over to the B44 plastic hubs (#9730) and saw a big change in how my car handled in and out of the corners. I run at a...

bleeder cap screws

I just rebuilt my shocks (not big bores, just standard from Factory Team B4.1). 3 of the 4 bleeder shock cap screws don't snug up, they just turn. Is this normal or are they stripped?

I did a...

Yeah, it's like when people use "4" instead of spelling out FOR or using "U" instead of...oh wait, never mind.

Give the dude a break.

Pull the electronics. Break down the chassis, completely dry it (compressed air helps), use a soft tooth brush or paint brush for the sand stuck in all the crevices, clean and lube the bearings, and...

I should have added "sooner than June". I think (like other guys) it will be more than just BB shocks, new towers, and hexes.

Tower price

I posted this before but removed it.

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXBYUM&P=ML

Why would Tower (a giant retailer) reduce the price of a popular kit and show it as "limited...

Thanks for the reply.

Parts shouldn't be a problem since the car has been out for so long. I never really worry about the latest and greatest, either. I guess it was just the "fear" that a new...

Beating that dead horse...

I'm thinking about picking up a FT B4.1 but, since Losi just introduced the 22 - how far off do you guys think a new AE buggy is? No, I didn't read through the previous 145 pages of posts.

I know...
