Default b44 rear arms

I'm building a worlds car and looking at set up sheets on line the mention using a B44 rear arm. Is that something different than what comes with the kit? Thanks!!

I know you want a little play so that it doesnt rip to shreds on the first rollover but mine is rediculously loose. Any input is appreciated.

If you get the JC or Pro-Line hex, make sure you also get a set of pins and washers for the hexes as they do not come with them. AE plastic hex kit does, but they do not clamp.
I didn't even think about putting the washers up front, does it take two like the rears?

Be careful when making the holes. Too big and the wing will flop around. You want it to be tight on the mounts.

Yes the b44 arms are stiffer than the stock plastic ones yet softer than carbon.

i don't think you would notice a difference, i only felt a difference with my other 8mm car before i got the wc was when all arms, nose plate, u brace was carbon, i reacted smoother and made it a little easier to drive. Ik maybe I'm crazy but i prefer carbon parts mostly bc they don't wear. Ill be picking some up next time I'm at the track, after 5 raceways my front hubs and arms are worn not bad but its something i get crap for from the k guys

sometimes i feel like, a sloppy car=a less notchy and easy car to drive fast.

Where he will feel the difference is when he is on low bite surfaces. Low bite you want as much flex / slop as you can get (within reason of course) because it will increase traction. I swear the worst mistake I have ever made was rebuilding my car with all new parts right before a big race.... made it feel totally different and much harder to drive.

The bushings are the same size as the bearings. So they should work for you, or I believe the part # for the bearings is asc3971.

+1 on slightly sloppy. Im new to The 4.1 platform, and for The first week out it was very twitchy and unpredictable. After about 4 or 5races the car started to break in, and got much better.

I run on med to low bite black dirt, and its good. I was wondering if anyone has tried cvds lately.

I'm not positive on the correct size of the bell crank bearings...but those are out of stock so it looks like you will still have to get the ae ones.

I was never a big fan of the wing mount either. I saw someone else had chopped off the posts and drilled and tapped holes for 4-40 screws and screwed the wing to the mounts. I've been doing this with mine now too.
