RC10B4.1 FT/WC
I agree those minute steps are aggrevating for myself. I like my LRP and being a newbie to RC, I could play with that 10 settings and 4 modes on the SXX and feel the changes and understand them. Having 100 different vairables is something that makes my mind go crazy to point of frustration. But some guys dig on 100 settings but I like to keep it simple. I agree with the true spec is RTR, everybody has 100% of the same parts just different set ups. But everybody likes to play with stuff and aftermarket needs. I think blinky is cool and mod, but just don't give me 100 different modes with 20 different settings otherwise I will go insane with....what if!?!?
take it over to the trash can and drop it in then head to LHS and buy a new one, lol.
Just joking, take it all a part and put it all back together again, new bearings, sand is a killer.

Last layout was REALLY hard (think concrete) red clay & rather dusty (even just a few minutes after watering the track) & starting to break up in spots. Green dd's (or similar) were the go to tire. Current layout is much softer & little to no dust & usually damp. Barcodes in clay or ss (or similar) are the go to tire now.
This for an indoor track, & you mentioned no rain, so I'm guessing yours is out door. For out door with more dust & loam, goosebumps --> 3d's --> dd's as the track gets drier picks up a groove. I've run all 3 on the same day as track conditions changed during a summer day.

If it is a preset I am good with it, but i watched a youtube on Viper and got a little scared. If it says, 13.5 run this and maybe tweak a few things then I am good.

I just bought a used B4.1 RTR, and the seller kept the servo for use in another vehicle.
I'm looking for a servo with performance "good enough" for low-level racing and power draw low enough to use with the stock ESC/motor and Spektrum receiver. I need the third receiver channel for a transponder.
Would a HiTec HS225MG be a reasonable choice?

Tread pattern is something I just don't know anything about regarding racing on red clay (firm, but, slightly dusty).
