I run a range of Mod electric cars with my PX, 1/10th 4WD with 6T, 1.10th 2WD with 7.5T, 1/10th SC with 550 4.5T and a Micro buggy with 5700kv. Mostly Vampire ESC and Motors but the SC is a Hobbyking trackstar motor and the micro is a Carisma motor with Hobbywing esc.

Care is need to make sure the ESC is calibrated to the radio correctly (I am sure you know this). Also there is an end spring on the PX so make sure you are truly at the end travel when calibrating. Make sure end points are set to max before calibrating as well.

50:50 vs 70:30 should not make a difference to actual speed, just that way in which it gets there.

These past couple weeks I've been driving my new Tekno truck with my 4PX. Most of my flaws are driver related since I haven't driven in a while. However I'm noticing that when I brake hard I will spin out the truck almost every time. So, I'm wondering what adjustment should I make with my radio to prevent this? OR should I reduce the braking strength in my ESC (Tekin RX8 V2)?

Many reduce the brake force, I prefer to train my finger to moderate the braking as to go faster you need to brake harder. The trick is to be smooth on the brakes so as not to unsettle the car. Easier said than done though :D

I am considering getting the Tekno truck, it looks awesome!

Smooth and controlled brake finger makes you faster, as opposed to slamming the brakes. You should also make sure that your brakes aren't too strong and completely locking up the tires. If your tires are locked up, it makes it difficult to control your car.

Can't do background pics or sound clips yet, but update v1.2 is out;

I also use EPA to reduce brake strength too when I'm on the driver stand already.

Some ESC's (like my Orca) you can adjust the brake frequency. It is incredibly smooth for 2WD braking.

Update v1.2 went on just fine. No problems at all.

I put ATL on a dial and use that to limit brakes. I adjust it in warmups to be only as strong as the strongest braking corner needs, for F1 anyway

Doesn't sound like 1.2 adds much

will a spektrum temperature probe work with futaba telemetry?i tried it on the sbus port but i get nothing. i do have receiver voltage showing so im assume i have all the settings right.

no it will not work

the sbus port is a digital interface port that talks to another module where telemetry probles get connected.

Recieved the transmitter, updated it to V1.2E en placed the dropdown and smaller ALU brake lever.
The angle plate isn't installed as my hands seems to far from eachoter (and it doesn't fit in the case), but the feel is good. I hope to test the transmitter in the upcoming week(s).

Waiting for the bling/bling handle to carry the transmitter and I'm forseen from a good and very nice transmitter :).

Ok ,if you are using one probe do u still need the interface?

B16A2 05-13-2015 08:39 PM

yes you still need it

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...P?I=LXBYNV&P=8

the proble signal needs to be converted to a digital signal for the receiver to send back to the transmitter.
