There is no way to change the steering spring is there? I find it even loose as it goes a tad hard. Also I wonder if anyone makes a larger steering wheel also? Thanks.

I know how to do this for steering but how do I do it for throttle?I want to set throttle dual rate with a momentary push button so I can have 60 percent throttle for the infield and hold a button down for full throttle in the straight
|
Is the steering wheel on the 4pk a bit bigger then the 4px? Also will it fit? Thanks

I was thinking, can't you just heat up the plastic one and bend it slightly?

Hey I want to check on something. I'm using a 4PX. I have a properly wired Tekin RX2 going into a Tekno 410.3. I had to reverse the throttle and steering settings in the radio itself. After that, the radio and truck work fine but I'm concerned I may be messing something up in the long run. Is it normal to reverse a channel to get proper direction?

Just got my 4PX radio barely used yesterday in the mail with all the item below for $550 CDN or like $473 USD from paypal at the time:
4PX transmitter, 2 x R304SBE receivers, R614FS receiver, Atomik generic radio bag and there was even the LiFe FT2F1700BV2 pack inside! I got 2 x R304SB for nitro that I have been buying lately on RCTech. Awesome radio! |
Has anyone here experienced their radio freeze up on them?
I was racing last night. I was lined up for my race, 30 seconds left in the race before me. I turned on my radio, them my ESC. Checked steering, throttle and brakes, everything works. The race before me ends, we all put our cars on the track and wait for the marshalls to take their place. When the announcer tells us to take out practice laps everyone takes off except for me. I hit the throttle and got nothing. So i take off the lid, battery is connected and ESC is turned on but no lights, transponder is flashing. I flipped the ESC power switch and few times, disconnected and reconnected the battery a few times and still no change. So I went to power down the car and the radio and noticed the radio wouldn't turn off. I had to disconnect the battery in the radio to shut down the radio. When I reconnected the radio battery and turned on the radio everything was normal again. I use a LiFe battery in my radio and it still had a voltage of 6.6V. Has anyone experienced anything similar? |
Also if anyone is interested I have the new futaba ss black aluminum trigger new in package for sale $25 shipped

If you use any one of the Futaba Sbus sensors you can plug directly into sbus port of receiver. If you run multiple sensors, i.e. temp, rpm, and voltage then you will need a sBus hub.

yes you still need it
the proble signal needs to be converted to a digital signal for the receiver to send back to the transmitter. |
Yes but the sensor on its own is not going to work as it needs a board to talk to the sbus port as the original question. The Spektrum temp probe that is just a thermistor will not connect to the Futaba sbus port and provide temp telemetry.
The Futaba thermistors have the board that allow the thermistor reading to be converted to the sbus protocol. |

13mm is for people with very small fingers, otherwise it wouldn't fit. I've runned the radio last sunday in a race and it's awesome. Good grip, good balance and awesome response. No regret of selling my M12 and buying a 4PX. |
