Setup my radio last night impressed so far and had no problems with my Hitec servos in Digital mode.

Hi can someone confirm what the setting should be for non futaba digital servos? my interpretation of the manual is to only use digital mode for Futaba digital servos and analogue for all other servos both digital or analogue, the wording is a little ambiguos but that is how I interpreted

Thanks,
Tai

LOL i know what you mean! 2 weeks ago they were "sitting on" the 4px's arriving, i spoke with them directly and didn't get much confidence after that discussion and my gut was right. I really wanted to buy locally but like many others why when i could have it in 3 days....

Futaba's response though was 4 days later so a little slow there and unhelpful actually, im not one to winge publically but i think you have hobbyist and enthusiasts and the problem is that they are treating us all like hobbyist and hobbyists don't purchase 4PX's...

I have received a PM from KO though, that was through reading my post, not through me sending them an email so that is impressive, i think we may be onto something, will let you all know if we can work this out for fellow 4PX & KO servo users (well BSx2 specific because my other KO's work fine)

Ignore this found my answer a little later in the manual. also saw some previous posts that users are still using digital settings for various non Futaba servos, 2 questions:

1. is it noticeably faster
2. is there any long term negative effects

Thanks,

Hi, I'm looking at upgrading my old 3pks to this. However i run the ko rsx servos, do the rsx and rsx2 servos work!? Only reason I don't run futaba servos is because my 9352s don't fit in my losi's radio tray so I use the ko for similair performance. Thanks for any help muchly appreciated!!

Hi I dont have an rsx servo so cant help there. Is the rsx programmable? Ko suspect the radio system is putting the bsx2 in program mode. I have tested ko pds 2363 works fine so not all ko servos have this problem

Some on this thread have mentioned earlier no problems with KO RSx so hopefully you are in luck....

I only run KO rsx and rsx2 servos, and so far so good with the 4px. Some have stated problems with these servos when running electric. In my nitro setup, servos are working. I haven't tried the 4px with my electric cars yet.

Put the correct model rx in the top menu.
Turn on car so RX has power
Hit the link button on the radio
Press the link button on the RX and wait for the led to change from solid to blinking and then release and it should link.
I had both my RX's linked in a matter of minutes.

Make sure you select the RX type in the radio, it defaults to FHSS, for that one should be FASST

Try placing the transmitter really close to the receiver while binding. Wokred for me when I was having trouble binding my two R604FS

DCNash55 11-06-2014 04:33 AM

thanks guys. but i did all of that... i believe the radio itself is not transmitting a signal... gonna call tech support today...a friend at my local track did one of his... and with it not bound yet it showed a blinking green light... when he bound it, it turn solid green... mine all stay solid red... press the SW button and it blinks red a few times the goes back to solid red again...
