Is Tekin going to package this esc with the T8i motors in a combo pack?

No boost no timing. BEC 7,4Volt 3,4 Volt cutoff per cell. deadband 15

We run 15 minutes mains and after 13 Minutes the car just stoppt. engine had 100 degree Celsius and speedo 90 degree celsius. After switsching the car of and on....everything was o.k. but my main was done.

Any sugesstions???

Thanks
I'm assuming you meant 100 and 90 degrees fahrenheit? Otherwise those temps would clearly be an issue.

If the temps are fine sounds like a battery or possibly a charger issue to me. Is it an older pack? Have you checked the IR on it recently? Do you check the voltage of the pack after you charge it? Maybe your charger has an issue and isn't fully charging your pack. 15 minute mains are pretty long, but I would think a 4s 7200 pack should be able to make that with your current set up. I'd defintely start with the battery/charger and go from there.

Oh yeah, didn't catch that John... 100°c is 212°f and 90°c is 194°f.
I believe thermal cutoff temp on the ESC is 160°f.

Hey guys I have been having a problem with changing the settings on my RX8 G2's timing, I use the push button mode and select the timing level and once I hit the increase button all the led's light up and nothing changes. It just keeps showing the timing led and then the level 1 led. I can't get it to change. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

No, that would simply create too many part #'s for dealers and distribution to stock.

First off your LVC should be set for total pack voltage, it's not per cell.

13 minutes in a run, you hit voltage cut off.

No, thermal cut off on the esc is in the 240f degree range.

He didn't thermal.

Even with 7000's he's likely dumping at 13 minutes I'd wager.

When you charged the batteries, how many mah did they take?

To change a timing profile you must hit the "mode" button 5 times to move the led over to TP. Then hit the "inc" button to select the timing profile you want. Led's 6 and 7 are custom ones.

That's what I am doing and when I hit the increase it lights up the whole led bar and doesn't change a thing.

I was waiting too long to press the increase button. Go figure, thanks for bearing with me and the slow brain. I think I was dropped as a baby! Just kidding....I think.

Wow, that's impressive that it can take that kind of heat.

The Hotwire 9.6 will read Gen1 esc's, yes.

You however cannot load Gen2 software onto a gen1 unit.

I just got my Gen2, and downloaded the Hotwire software.
I am running windows 8 and can't seem to get the hotwire window any bigger.
I can't read half the settings.

Is there something I'm missing?
I can right click on the top bar of the window but it will only allow me to move the window, not resize.
