Can anyone help please. I have two Flow Comp ESC's do the same thing now. Switch them on, receiver gets power and servo works but nothing from the ESC. Just the Blue LED blinking at me. Buttons do nothing. I have updated software etc. But the simple fact is the damn thing sit the blinking at me with no working buttons.

The buttons do not work when you don't RESET the esc after updating. You must always reset the esc after updating. If you do not reset the esc, the buttons do not work. This is normal. First do a reset and after that you'll see the buttons work again.

Dave,
You are right, the ESC need to be reset have to reset after a firmware update.
But oncekj I had a similar problem without a firmware update.
I investigated this and I found that the sensorwire had short circuit and this send the ESC in brick mode.

Anyone is running the flow on 5.4 running 13.5 boosted? Can share your setup? Thanks.

Anyone? Or is the 4.7 a better firmware to use? Thanks.

Stuck in Blinky

I don't know if I'm missing something but any help is appreciated. B5M CE with 3 gear tranmission, LRP Flow with a Reedy 8.5. The switch has been cut off car runs fine but lacking in the speed department. I have played with gearing. Button line is The esc is in Blinky mode, and I can't get into programming as nothing happens when I press the mode button for 3-10 seconds. Any thoughts?

Tried it last year and it is rubbish, apparently it is not for classes that use lots of boost, most people here in the UK use the V 5.0 Firmware which isn't available on LRP's web site

The switch isn't an issue, they are designed to stay on if the switch comes off or bets damage, did you just remove the switch or did it come off after a crash?just make sure you get the little click when you push the mode button, they are a bit dodgy and sometimes don't work properly, just try flicking it a bit incase a bit of dirt has got stuck under the lip of the button

Thanks for the reply. The switch was cut off and capped when I bought it. Ran it a couple of seasons with no issues. I have played with the settings before, adjusting to track conditions. I blew it out myself then light with a air compressor to no avail. If the unit is tipped upside down the mode button falls further then the set button, (don't know if that is something) Little stumped with this one. I do have a spare should this have to go to LRP, just thought that there might be something I'm missing.

Thanks. So I'm better off running 4.7?

yes I would give that a try

use the 5.4 for stock, this delivers more aggressive boost settings and initial punch.
