And I didn't see a box anywhere. Might check closer tomorrow. Aussie guy Simon Nicholson is also using a prototype. |
With the current Flow software, what's a good setting for 1/12th 3.5 modified?

FYI LRP in Germany have advised that the Bridge Spec V2 does not work with MAC OSX 10.10.2.
Be keen to hear from anyone who has managed to get it going... |
Thanks to John D from jdandracing.blogspot.com for the awesome pit photos and espionage from the ETS season finale. Check out his blog for more cool photos and videos.
This is the prototype LRP speedo from Volker's car. take a look at the aluminum bottom case! http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OTkBgb2H4T...626_152945.jpg |
That's the same as he was running at AOC I mentioned earlier.

I just purchased an LRP Flow Works ESC, haven't used one before. I run 13.5 boosted, do I need the latest software update or is the standard one ok?

Anyone having issue with removing the factory wires? The solder they used seems to have very high melting temperature. even at 850F I couldn't remove it...
|
Trim the wires off very close to the board first. That worked for me.
|
Also use a large chisel tip. Small tips lose heat much faster. Same idea as mach10's suggestion (less wire = less mass for heat to be absorbed in)

Hey guys I was just wondering what firmware comes with the LRP Flow Comp ESC straight out the box? I just bought the ESC maybe about 2 weeks ago. Also was wondering what setup on the ESC should I use. I'm running a BD7 with a 13.5T X20 motor on a fairly large track. What ESC settings should I run at with boost and what gearing? Also, I cant pair my remote and esc together. I hold the set button but nothing happens. When I turn on the car the mode led just turns blue and red, any info? Thanks!

Check on this link, version 1.4

If you're running boosted 13.5 would be better to update to one of the newer firmware. There is one for onroad mod motors and another for onroad stock motors such as yours that offers more tailored boost and turbo values. As well as the new brake profiles etc. |
