As above, would be v1.4 out the box.
If you're running boosted 13.5 would be better to update to one of the newer firmware. There is one for onroad mod motors and another for onroad stock motors such as yours that offers more tailored boost and turbo values. As well as the new brake profiles etc. |

Which firmware should I use for 13.5 boosted? 5.4? 4.7?

Great! Thanks but as for the ESC not being able to setup, whats the issue? I cant seem to find any troubleshoot on the manual. The green set button doesn't even flash at all when i turn it on. The mode button just flashes blue and red. Any suggestions?

I found this but it says your green LED should be flashing fast also. |
Exactly, so I'm not too sure what it means. I just bought a brand new LRP X20 13.5t, I hope its not defective! If my rotors arent turning will the engine not move at all when I turn it manually? Thanks!

Does anyone know what esc flashing for motor temp is in temp. I run an X20 13.5T and the temp reading of the for the motor temp reads 5 blink. What is that in temperature ?
Also, if using another brand of motor (Novak Vulcan) I can still get a reading from the LRP esc, but can I trust this reading ? |

Firmware V5.4!
I have been running the latest V5.4 Firmware in 13.5 boosted class for some weeks, I have been struggling to get a smooth feeling through the powerband like I have when running my hobbywing, would anyone recommend using a different Firmware version to try?

Luke, what settings are you running on the speedo and what motor/timing?
my settings on V5.4 are:- 3,1,0,3,0,10,6,0 |
Well has this happened to anyone else.
Racing Sunday speedo was working throw out the day, put the car down for the first final. The fan wasn't spinning no lights on, but the receiver and pt lights were on, got home and checked it. Working fine. |

my settings on V5.4 are:- 3,1,0,3,0,10,6,0 Also try dropping the boost ramp, stock setting is equivalent to 500rpm/° OR 30,000 rpm boost range on the HW (assuming same total boost amount). Failing all that... try the 4.7 software, as that gives boost and turbo control, and has some lower levels of initial drive too (which I've found even just 1% can make a big difference in how smooth the car is). I get the feeling 5.4 is aimed more at Blinky stock than boosted.... |
