4.5T Mod Touring

I just bought a Flow Esc and would need some esc set up recommendations please.

Large onroad track with 40m straight

4.5T Trinity D3.5 motor

Touring car with front spool

Question, do I just use one of the preset profiles? If not, how do I set a custom recommended setting?

Thanks

Anyone any idea if you can purchase the bottom plastic case part of a flow?

If so a part number would be great.

Thanks

I just received an LRP Flow Competition ESC, and I am having second thoughts, I am only running 17.5t blinky n a B4.2 right now, but I might want to run mod in the future, how far in the future I dont know. Should I just send it back and pay the difference for the Works, or can I have it upgraded to the Works if or when I decide to run mod?

The competition will handle light duty mod. LRP doesn't recommend it but we tested with a 7.5t in a 2wd buggy no issue. I would not recommend running mod on-road with it though.

Spot on Sean C. I have a comp in my 4wd buggy and it has been perfect, it does run a bit toasty though so i'd recommend the fan.

Thanks guys, I am gonna keep the Comp, Stock is really competitive at our local track so I will probably stay there for a while, and by the time I am ready to run Mod a new ESC will probably be out.

Is torque timing just a fancy name for the setting punch?

No, that would be "initial drive" or feel. Torque timing actually increases bottom end power

So running high amounts of Initial Drive and some torque timing should give a significant amount of power out of corners ect?

Yes, that would make it extremely aggresive on power. Personally, I dont like running a lot of initial drive, even with a blinky car, I just think its easier to drive.

Under boost angle and activation, how can "Boost trigger" be used instead of "Boost angle"?

Can this be changed? If so, how is this used?
