Can this be changed? If so, how is this used?

The boost trigger is fixed in the software but different versions of software use different RPMs to trigger.
The Stock and Off road mod SW use 5.1k, the mod on-road uses 7.6k.

I just got the LRP Flow works ESC and I have no idea what firmware installed in the ESC. My question is what's the best firmware to use in 17.5 blinky class or it doesn't matter..

Update v5.0 - special Stock Only firmware

V1.4 will come as standard on the unit, as above for the best stock software use v5.0

I'm using a TP 4.5T motor gear ratio 8.0-8.3 and 20 degree motor timing with a Nosram Comet HD. I seem to have to much bottom power so it's hard to control the car in slow sections. My settings were 2-3-0-4-3-1-3. Any suggestions how to make the motor smoother in the bottom without to sacrifice the top speed?

Thanks for any advice.

Lojz

yeah, if its stock untouched its 1.4v. If you have the cpu bridge it will tell u when u hook it to the puter.

If you bought used and dont have the cpu bridge then well...not really unless you know the beeps very well.

I know the V5.0 firmware is specific for stock racing however the changes made is for boosted class... Or this firmware will give more overall power when use in blinky..

Does it make any difference to upgrade the firmware for VTA, meaning 21.5/25.5 motors?

Cridd 07-07-2013 04:29 PM

I think it is best to upgrade from 1.4.

3.3 is Mod class and 5.0 is for the blinky stock class.

No need. V1.4 is very good for Blinky. V5.0 only needed if you run boost for something like a 10.5 and up. I actually downgraded from 5.0 to 1.4.

Ok thanks that's what I thought their is no advantage upgradiing to a new firware if you are only running blinky... But anyways the flow is awesome lots of rip on 17.5 blinky class and break is unreal very smooth..

Cridd 07-08-2013 09:56 PM

5.0 is made for blinky higher specs for stock.

Chris,

I got the new board on all my LRP SXX very similar to flow with 1.4 Version firmware and it has a lot of power on blinky class as you can tell I have been dominating the 2wd buggy class lol... 5.0 Firmware Version is specifically design for boosted class it does not give you any advantage When running blinky class..
