No need to...but always GOOD to make ESC cooler...I know most of my driver running 7.5 with LPF on their Losi 22 don't mount their fan but I know couple of them shoe-glue the fan on the side (instead on top of the ESC) just to keep it cooler.

great price right now on the Silver Arrow V2.0 ESC . Went ahead and ordered one, $74 shipped in the USA so I should be all speed passion'd out now LOL.

I will be using this ESC in a 1/8 buggy with the following gear:

- 4S lipo
- Tekin 2050Kv motor
- Futaba 4PL radio gear
- Futaba S9351 servo

This setup prior used a MMP to power it all with no issues.

So, any tips or suggestions on how I should setup the ESC or software to use on it (I have the LCD Programmer, well, one that is basically the same :) ).

I wish their sales would work better with my money situation. Was hoping to get some more practice in Friday morning at EN Hobbies and fine tune my new LPF but a sprint car needs maintenance for tomorrow night and we have three days of racing this weekend.

Where is the best place to get replacement cases for my GT2.0 LPF? Any color...

I need 2 cases. Mine are not holding together any more and look kinda ratty from going from car to car...

Price is so good, and I've heard such good things I ordered one as well. I dont even have a use for it right now. It'll either be my backup, or i'll use it if my son gets a 1/8th buggy, or maybe i'll have to pick up a new kit just to run it side by side vs rx8 and see how it goes. :)

I wouldn't mind the clear bottom case part, my ESCs have the older solid color so can't see the lights.

It's definitely not needed on a 2wd buggy or truck. 4x4 buggy or truck...it might not be a bad idea. The cooler it stays the longer it will probably last.

I have to say the speed passion fans seem to be pretty robust i comparison to other fans I have used in the past.

A normal tv remote won't work, you have to have a Direct TV remote! :D
