You're the hammer. I'm usually smooth, but can get aggressive. At no point do I need full throttle on this layout. I might hit full throttle for literally a second or two coming down the straight.

if thats the case, gear down. (ie smaller pinion).

I was very surprised by how much I had to change my gearing to get the temps to where I needed on the track i ran on (50 x 50).

Come to think of it, it may have actually been an 11T pinion I went down to on a 5.5 motor using a 62T spur.

Could some one please explain the effects of drag brake? Or explain all of the after effects of drag brakes? I am trying to see if there could be an outside, or inside the tranny, issue.
Blake
I tried drag brake this weekend for the first time in quite a while and I likey. I am trying to see what the side effects are.
The ESC is the GT 2.0 LPF and the amount is 10%. I ran with it at 20% for a while and I may go back to it next week.

i just got my gt 2 LPF esc in the mail....i was wondering if anyone else bought this esc and if it came with a sensor wire or not, cause mine didnt:cry: i swear 2 years ago when i bought this same esc it came with a sensor wire

No sensor wires, as they're usually vehicle dependent.

My last 2 SP motors did come with them though.

My motor came with one.....it is very short and is worthless for 10th off road

I run a 5cm long sensor wire in 3 of my 1/10 offroad cars. I guess this depends on your car and not on the class you run..

205 MOD I believe as that is the "Safe" software.

Mundy1 05-07-2012 05:26 AM

What do you mean by "Safe" Software?

Safe software = no boost. OK got it.

I run#110323 software with boost and turbo set to 0. Same thing right?

I run that way in my DESC410 with a Tekin Pro 4 and my SCTE with a Xerun 4pole 4000kv 540 motor.

I like all the adjustment options this software has compared to just profiles.
