oh and also what is the factory settings for lipo cutoff ?

thanks for any info!

Cant see why it wouldn't fit, it's not that tall. The stock version doesn't come with a program box either, so you'd need to buy one if you wanted to change the somewhat limited settings.

No idea on the stock LiPo cutoff voltage though. It may be off by default.

Running a Reventon R , B4.1 and Bulldog body and the fit is good. I think default Lipo cut off is turned off, but can be changed with switch. They are awesome ESCs and I am sure you will be pleased.

I just got the reventon stock club race, but got the LCD program card for gt, silver arrow #SPLCD01. Will this work or do I need the dedicated reventon LCD card (trans blue box)? It says on the website I need the reventon box but they appear the same but for the color and print. I just need to change some basic settings like cutoff, drag brake. Thanks,

Help.

I was wondering if I could get some help I sent in my GT2.1 prostock in for warranty repair. I plugged it in turned it on and the leads to the on off switch melted the insulation and I got lots of nice white smoke. Disappointing considering I have only used it once before.

I sent it if for warranty as it was still covered. I shipped it in of 11/24/12 with the requred warranty card and the RMA#, to the Chicago warranty center on 11/24/2012. I know it arrived as I had sent it sig required. I've left a couple voice mails trying to find out when I might be getting it back, and they have gone unaswered. I've been tying to be patient because of the holidays but I would like to get it back.

I love my speed passion ESC's it was a great esc till it left out its magic smoke. It was the second ESC I've had from SP that has done that to me. I have a Reventon Pro that I LOVE and will LOVE even more once my blue tooth module gets here and I'm thinking about getting another but this has me a little hesitant...

Anybody have any ideas what actions I need to do?

You need the blue programming card specific to the Reventon ESCs.

Please PM me your information and I will assist you in following up on your RMA outside of this thread.

Thank you.

Then once your ESC accepts that you can go ahead and update the firmware you are specifically trying to use.

This doesnt work at all for this esc. The esc is bricked basically after a "Failed update." The reventon software nor the reventon lcd recongize "see" the esc. Once you plug up a battery to the esc and turn it on, it'll just have a solid yellow light. It will turn off once you hook it up to a lcd programmer or reciever. It'll actully make a low toned beep once you do this too.

I've tried everything to get it to work that I can think off. Re-installed the latest software on two different pc's and a netbook. Everything works fine but the esc. Now mind you I own two other reventon pros and they work fine and update fine.

Any help sptech? thanks

Reventon Pro

hi, i tried soldering up my Schuur Speed 17.5T motor to my esc tonight and couldn't get the esc to calibrate? The motor ran fine on my LRP Blinkie esc...but doesn't seem compatible with the Reventon Pro. Has anyone experienced this? I have been running an Orion Pro Stock 17.5T with no issue on O Stock and Stock 1 programs. I put the Orion motor back in ....and she calibrated right away.

Anyone ever use a granturismo gt 2.1ex in 2wd buggy? It was my 1/12 1s ESC but I'm not racing that class anymore and wanted to try it over my lrp sphere tc comp. Was going to sell it but if 2wd stock/mod won't hurt the ESC I might keep it.

Thanks

I have heard of people using this in 2wd buggies, one I was looking to buy from someone was used in that vehicle without issues he said.

Thanks. I read in here that apperently its the same as the gt2.0 pro without the need for a voltage booster and with a lp heatsink. I'm guessing 17.5 2wd no boost won't hurt the gt 2.1ex as long as temps are ok. I would rather sell it than abuse it though.

Any other comments regarding the gt 2.1ex in 2wd buggy mod/stock will be appriciated.
